The curious case of cognizant_81

i had been watching this user for a long time now.

after a lot of reports received by various users, then thinking and "dimag ko faltoo shot" kind of discussions with other mods and other members of the forum, i have banned this user permanently.

the reasons of which are

1. seeming ambivalence towards other user's opinions just to satisfy own ego
   
2. displaying (publicly) strong opinions against the ones who disagreed
   
3. high sensitivity towards received groans in spite of some 500+ groans made by self
   
4. baseless discussions which can be easily termed as inflammatory
   
5. excessive fanaticism about one's religion and beliefs
   
6. immature behavior on the forum and off the forum with forum members
   
7. trying to get into fights with users almost always
   

these are some things which i could think of right now.

this is a public forum and you all are welcome to disagree with anyone here.
but it should not be so excessive and personalized that you take it seriously.

same applies to my this post and action taken by me.

if you disagree with me on this action, you are free to express it over PMs or by using the groan button on this post.


PS: i forgot to mention that we warned this user many times. but to no avail.
also, i regret banning such veteran members but what other option we have.

It happened sometime back that Aejazveir urged me to keep the ID alive so that he can study.

I had warned him sufficiently previously as well and he had promised me to be sane on the forum.
Having observed him for a couple of days and a recent turn of events, his IP's have been blocked.
The user is suspended for ruthless behavior on SB.

It makes me sad when people take undue advantage of the help you extend to them thinking about their future.
However in the future I shall not be able to help any case like that.

anyway continuing with the story...
i find that this user dsouzanisha has opened a UTM thread and making a fake discussion with the other 2 users mentioned above.

so after investigating (of course, with my detective lens) i find that these are all the same users, trying to mislead our innocent puys on the forum.

so i ban them all.
however i don't delete the posts as they are very well written and a case study in itself. :D

A well planned conspiracy to advertise on PG without being noticed has been revealed. Certainly, people involved were intelligent in using clones etc. but could not sustain it for very long :biggrin:
