Um.. I am interested in browsing the net and using applications through the net. Any cellphone - handheld combo which suits my needs ?

I need to be able to install applications on the handheld to further work. I am looking at something slightly bigger than a cell fone and way smaller than a laptop!

consider sony ericsson T610 .. great popularity worldwide, great looks and great features .. really a treat!
though has some probs with display in sunshine,ascending ringtone and low memory!

I own a Nokia 6610 as of now....and id say its a good buy....havent had any problems with it ...looks sleek and has got gprs and fm as additional features to add.....

A pretty reasonable buy id say...

If anyone wants to go in for a sturdy cell whch is also value for money id say then the nokia 3310 is the best buy in the market.....cos tht was wht i had before my present cell and its a steal.....:)

Pls dont ask me techie details cos thts not my forte ...i can only spk from a layman's point of view...

i own a nokia 3530 and its a gr8 value for money.. for 6.5k (was 7k when i bought :x ) it provides u with color display amazing GPRS mms and polyringtones.. and best of all u get a cheap data cable for this phone also (only 350 ). simply gr8 in its performance....

only cons this phone has is that it is a bit big and bulky and the software requires a bit of tweaking

Nokia is like Windows in computers every software is made by keeping nokia in mind

p.s dont go for R220 gives a lot of prob in hutch network and has a pathetic software

the display not being visible in sunlight is an issue associated with PTN displays (t610)...the t630 was taken primarily to counter this issue...has got hardly any tangible add-ons except for the fact that it has a TFT screen...haven't actually checked it out....but TFT screens *usually* ain't that bad in sunlight.......

dat NOKIA 5100 looks good has a RUBBER-PLASTIC body n rubber keys.its a g-shock phone....BUT(a big BUT that too)THE KEYS R REAAAAAAAAALLLLLY TARDY....maan that is 1 nokia phone where u hav probs usin it...believe me its not worth buyin for 11k.

Also chek a very happening set nok 5100.
its a very funky set nd costs only bout 11k

Nokia 3310 is da best! First cell phone i got... also the only cell phone i have! i have decided to replace it with a monster cell phone only if i get into a good college...
I suggest motorola T360 (or some number..not sure) its got the best resolution for its price which is around 10K+. terrific piece.

The main advantage with nokia is definitely its interface...its as good as it can get.

me happens to be a proud owner of Nokia 3350 .. good goin' ... replacement possible only if i dare financing it myself

25+ go for nokia 6230 it is the baap of 6600...its far smaller than 6600 n has more features...camera,MP3playr,flash memory card,EDGE...newer version of WAP..et al....but it will b around 25-26 or even more..it is launchin end of this quarter.i.e. end of this month...ther r others avail also...lemme kno.

btw zombie i use a nokia 6510...its a black n white cell tho

i to believe that the nokia models are the most reliable and have good resale value. i have a 2100 and tho it's been only 4-5 months since i'm using it, i can tell u that it's quite good and has'nt given me any problem!

i am planning to shift to colour versions soon.. say in another 3-4 months time.. will go for nokia ofcourse, but have to decide on model. any suggestions? i have 6600 in my mind, but have to think abt the price !!

I have my reservations for the set coz I had it once and had to sell it coz it had software problems...

hey....tones, pics et al as downloaded from ur mobile operator's website are chargeable as specified...however on wap, u can find n no. of sites where u cud get such tones (does ur piece accept midis) and wallpapers....check out mobile9.com. tagtag.com, mobone.com or the good 'ol google on wap downloading from these is completely free
