When does NIT Trichy DoMS take out its Notification? Whys is there no active thread in Pagalguy for 2012-14 discussion? Could somebody please help?

Hope all awaiting ur first day at NIT Trichy DOMS. The classes starts by 18th July 2011. I have received a sms from coll reg this .

I am from chennai so planning to reach NIT hostel on 17th july (sunday )morning.

I have arranged a direct bus from chennai to NIT trichy. It starts on 16th July night around 10 pm from CMBT bustand and will reach NIT Trichy by 5 am. Couple of the 2011-2013 joinees have made this arrangement. Interested friends can contact us. Just reply to this thread or u can contact us via phone or email

i got a mail regarding the councelling on july 14 th in OC category what are the chances of getting admission dere.....

but they told they have called thrice the number of people required. then how is the selection procedure?

Hi Sujin,
For the counselling event, you need to bring all the documents as mentioned in the counselling letter which you would have received. Any formal dress will be just fine, they will just verify your certificates, you will have to fill some details and then you need to pay your tution and hostel fees (so DD is required).
Apart from the original TC, medical certificate and category certificate (if applicable) rest only attested copies are required.
Hope this helps, don't be worried, it will be over before you know it.

I just got a call letter from DOMS NIT TYRICY regarding counseling. I want to know the number of seats available in OBC category. No list is there to check the merit order which will make the situation a lot clearer.

what is basic criteria for suit? do we have to get it on our own?
or can we get any better deal through college since the requirement is in bulk?
if u can provide contact no. of any trichy suit specialist who doms nitt always assign this job of stitching suits, that would be really great.

I have scored 96.30%ile, I denied IMT G and TAPMI and now I have left is NIT-T. Is it justified for me to take NIT-T or shall go again for next year CAT to try IITs, FMS and other colleges??

According to the info i got yes it is true and i think the call that bashee received confirms this..

Bashee there is no disadvantage if you are a fresher.. infact around fifty percent of students in B schools are freshers.
On the other side if you have experience you may have an advantage if you are in colleges having lateral placements especially.

Take a call!! it is your choice..

Hi Serious dont be too serious :)..
Tshirts and jeans are allowed unofficially..
We almost regularly wear jeans to classes.:)
But take care that u have formals also, which would come to aid
during functions and guest lectures.

The last counselling would be held during the week adjoining the opening of the college and those getting admitted can directly start with the academic session.
those who are in the last list will be called by the department regarding the calls and further details if any.

Congrats to all who have converted and joined DoMS-NIT Trichy.
Hope you guys had a nice time inspite of our absence .

Imp: Guys there are a couple of seats left in DoMS and those who could not attend due to some reason can call the department and convey your willingeness.
The department is planning to organise the next counselling during the last week of June. So call the department as soon as possible.

We had received a letter as far as my memory goes. And it is official that the classes will start from 18th July.. worst thing is tht, they dont evn hve lan connectn in hostels.....wtf, its NIT, n they dont hve any source of internet ......n evn bikes are not allowed , nt evn fr PG students
