Dear Mr Rock1987
When did you apply I guess you being a rational person must have applied it only after you got CAT result with you since TAPMI's last date was after the result date and since you seem to be so worried abt loosing your money you must have done home work of assessing your percentile with the last or say most probable convert of last yr.
You must have looked for the selection criteria and after finding none on website you must have referred to PG for last yr reference and then only you must have put your money.
and when you compare it with other colleges who ask to submit their forms before even you appeared for CAT or before the result day and also they will open their admission process after result day TAPMI is much cleaner with its ethics and methods. Considering amount of pain a small team of admission ppl taking day in day out so that Institute getsd the best and there is no injustice to Aspirants is not an easy task. Accsuing a system from outside is the easies thing to be done but giving a correct solution to the problem is not easy.
I guess ppl are venting out their frustation of some other institutes on TAPMI rather than actaully doing a correct analysis of their actual defaulters.
with 90.42 in CAT & 88.7 in XAT i lost my money in MDI. NITIE, XIMB, XLRI, SP Jain, MBE, MFC DU and ofcourse IITs( but not their fault) and few other colleges just because they had asked me to submit application fees before result. I guess now you will have a fair idea where you shd vent out your frustation rather on a genuine college like TAPMI.
For any other doubts and Clarification PM me.
I am just an aspirant like you all

Md Kashif Haider
Dear Mr Kashif,
Its not only about loosing money, TAPMI has given hope to hundred of students with percentile between 60 to 80. These students trusted the selection process and given their best ,many had an excellent GD/PI But later they found that GD/PI and overall profile have minimal effect on selection. Its obvious that they will feel cheated.
Me and many aspirants applied to TAPMI because we thought that if TAPMI is calling aspirants with percentile between 60 to 80 there must be a chance to get selected , but we were wrong.

And everybody have an idea about the cutoff %ile of the colleges which you have mentioned, So people like you, who are expecting their %ile in that range only apply to these colleges . People who are expecting their %ile in between 60 to 80 will never apply to these colleges.
But in TAPMI the scenario is different, they will call everybody only to reject them at later stage.
Why dont they adopt a similar process like other institute to declare cut off every year so that people in that range only will apply.
P.S.- I accept that i have not done enough research before applying but hopefully next year aspirants will do that by visiting this thread.
