If you are intrested in Finance then it would be a very good option for you!!
Right now there is no cutoff as such..I dnt thnk there wld b any pre decided cutoff as its a new course...It would be decided based on the interviews only!!

Curious because that would be a deciding factor for me to whether i should be staying in hostel or some rented apartment close to college.
Also, Jay... if you could please share some information on thenext round of interviews, when are they scheduled for and how many fresh applications have come up for the Exec course.

Also, do we get accomodation easily outside the college in the nearby areas, and how do we go looking for them, incase we dont want hostel.

Good to see the numbers increasing.. ... and i saw the last date moved to 5th September to allow MAT aspirants on 3rd Sep also to apply. I am only sceptical about the start of the session. Currently i am in a notice period of 2 months, and i am buying out my release for 20 days salary. If the start of college is delayed even by a week, that would be equal to 14 days of salary for me...and only useful if i get to know about it by the start of september...that way I can change my last working day in the company.

Anyways good to hear from all you guys... and hope that the number grows so that we have a wonderful time with some new friends at the campus.

I have paid the fees. I think in total 8 have paid the fees out of 11 from 1st list.

i had been to somaiya today . 2nd list will be put up in evening . They didnt said hw many seats r left . And today also few people where paying the fees around 2 odd . I dont thinj more than 10 odd seats will be lft .

1. It looks like batch size will be small , so i want to know will the batch will going to start or not as i have to resign from my company and i dont want that i resign and after i college drop the idea of continuing with less number of people in the batch.

yup..this is the list as of now..as u knw that this is the 1st batch so gettin all 60 wld b an issue..So we are commited to start the program with watever batch strenth we get..So u need not wry abt that...

Even at the time of Interview we had a small session on College so the person who were presenting informed that the hostel is optional..... if one can arrange for an accommodation in mumbai then hostel is optional

I guess this is the 1st list, they r gonna display the 2nd list than after we will come to know wt could be the batch size.

i had a query how different is thid course than pure finance course?
this course does not have project finance banking and insurance
is it that u will expect only BSE NSE related or marker related profiles and not core profiles of finance?
