So here it goes, my nomination for SBT ( I hope all of you are ready for a sesquipedalian post
)
Some sentences may well qualify to be extremely philodoxical so any attempt of cachinnation can well be absorbed as a normal behaviour 
( no don't worry there isn't any chance of causing permanent metanoia) :After a lot of cogitation ( and yeh add some stringent daily meditation to that too :-P ) I have finally decided to nominate I, me and myself (do I earn 3 places in the side for playing stupid
) for Shout Boxer's Team 2011 ( dont just think that only the title of the wackiest and coolest team did me, of course it helped
)
Before the selectors turn grumpy and ponder on defenestrating my nomination and in turn my chance (if any
) to be a part of this revered ( yeh SB and likewise SBT is a place of worship for people like me who are ardent practitioners of omphaloskepsis and love to be characterised as quidnuncs
) team, I think I should go ahead and put my pomposity and rodomontade skills into effect :grin:
The slightest thought of nominating myself creates the occurrence of borborygmus every now and then. But as rightly said by some one ( that some one is Henry James :-P ) that "life is, in fact, a battle" and you have to keep fighting throughout, winning or losing is something which should never be a matter of importance once you decide to fight ( I some how manage to end up always, yes you read it right, always on the losing side
).
So after gathering enough courage ( although one may title me as a pusillanimous person but yeh I can also act brave sometimes
) I have decided for the nomination.
A little bit about me, I am Donald Mardi ( yeh I know a title of Sir to go with my name would have sounded lofty and majestic
but dont worry I'm working on it
), trying to survive somehow ( all that I desire is peace and pleasure, my friends know that I'm an ardent follower of epicurus
) and every time I try to think my mind tells me that'
I have seen multiple nominations for different teams till date and have found more often than not that people put only their mock performances or past academic or CAT achievements before the selectors as a tool for selection. I some how dont concur to that recipe as a genuine parameter to judge ones capabilities to be in a team. Yes I acquiesce that scores and past performances are very important but I also strongly believe that you need some thing more to be in a team and perform. After all your success wont have any meaning if you are the only successful person in the team, so being regular and helping the team to achieve quality so that they can outshine others on the D-day is also an equally important parameter according to me. But anyways as profile coupled with past achievements form an indispensable part for selection I wouldn't keep the selectors waiting anymore for the same

But I would definitely love to see these chatoyant people with maieutic skills making the cut
