I have a similar query. Converted IIT M.
10th - 80%
12th - 60%:banghead::banghead::banghead:
B.Tech. - 65%
Right now working with a Good IT firm as a Senior Software Engineer and earning a good 6LPA :D
Should I opt for IIT M???

Low acads...thru out...din get a call from any older IIM's except for L..
dinn apply for FMS,NITIE,.....cant help for it now...really confused..wanna b in metros do a job along with my gf in some metro..never took cat seriously before but now...i realise how imp is it for me..

anyone hv idea when the iim k n new iim will be out with results ?

i think it doesnt affect at all on the placement scenario or anything once you are IN the campus .i knw some frm quota seats getting high paying jobs .

At 89 percentile, I think u should have got calls from all the IIMS. If not B atleast A and C. What happened?

I don't know if this is an appropriate question to ask but still I will ask ..
does the student coming from quota gets good jobs, I mean to say the high paying jobs?
and I am not talking about being discriminated. What I actually want to ask is if you perform well in the IIM, does that shad...

Hi guys,
I have a quiery. I gave Cat got 89.XX%ile....
got calls from IIM-L (reject) from new IIM's (No hope) as it based on my lucknow interview...which went very bad..IIT-Bombay(wl-30)..
I am 26now..with 2years IT & 2.5yrs PSU work ex..
So should i consider writing again CAT..unable...

Don worry man. WL - 4, I think is a sure convert at IIM C.
Btw i am also at WL -5 in IIM A.

buffer calls from IIM A...never heard from anyone ...so no idea about this.. AFAIK , IIM C has given buffer calls(source:read somewhere :P)... obviously, if one person is opting out means..waitlist has to movee:grin::grin::grin:.... you will make it bro...

anY idea if dere are any concessions in the fee structure for sc / st students in the new IIMs?

I converted at 83.xx

puys I do not know in which thread I should post this . oflately in my organisation I have came to know that some of my jealous graduation batchmates turned colleagues have told managers that I am a sc person . suddenly from no where fake /baseless performance issues have been put up against me ....

We know a person who's going to B for sure.
Do they offer seat to me ? Will that be taken care by BUFFERS?

bhai the thing is i need 2 people to withdraw admissions..last year the waitlist movement for sc was around 10-15(read somewhere on FB page)..and this year it will be less..dnt know how much but it ll be less..only people with calls from ABC will surely withdraw i think..people with L will all be...
