I have a personal query.i have converted IIT Madras . Right now i am working in an IT company and getting around 35k per month my concern is my degree CGPA is 5.87 and i am worried that this may hamper my chances of getting a good job and put me in a worse situation...can some senior put some light on this that will my CGPA really put me in a run for job situation..any one with some information can pm also..please help puys i am worried a lot..whether to go for it or continue with my job...

At 89 percentile, I think u should have got calls from all the IIMS. If not B atleast A and C. What happened?

I don't know if this is an appropriate question to ask but still I will ask ..

does the student coming from quota gets good jobs, I mean to say the high paying jobs?

and I am not talking about being discriminated. What I actually want to ask is if you perform well in the IIM, does that shadow your past performance whatever that might be?

I have a quiery. I gave Cat got 89.XX%ile....
got calls from IIM-L (reject) from new IIM's (No hope) as it based on my lucknow interview...which went very bad..IIT-Bombay(wl-30)..
I am 26now..with 2years IT & 2.5yrs PSU work ex..
So should i consider writing again CAT..unable to deside...
My Gf is in an IIM ...already...want to come out from the PSU...so shd i give an other shot??? confused...

yea mine wl-30 (sc)..L rejected...no other calls...my IIM-L interview was horrible...so not expecting good results from new IIM's as the score will pass from L(the hell)..
The worst thing is Som has 18 seats for sc...so...out of 47 , 30 people shd opt out for me to get into som...luking at the numbers...i am unable to keep my hope..

Yooooo !!!! I converted FMS !!!!!!!! After series of waitlisted results from iims i had to recheck wethr im in wait list or converted list ... Great news for me :-)

DMS-IIT Delhi Result out, http://dms.iitd.ac.in/Main%20List%20%28Mba%20FT%29.pdf.. They selected total 160 condidates, but only 10 SCs. Whyyyyy????:shocked:
If we go by 15% reservation it should be 24 na..:nono:
Am i wrong somewhere??

PS: What if all 10 go to IIM???

best season of my life....straight away rejects from fms...iima, c, l ....:( :(.....sala abi tak gd pi me appear hone ka total kharcha 5o k tak pahonch gaya...bt still no gud newa.....agar lena hi nahi hai to call kyu dete ho??? ...very much upset !! ...bhai o....ye b school vale kya dekhte hai ek candidate k anadar...:( m havng 83 percentile in sc category...ny chances r der or sud i start preparing cat 2012... :(
