hope all u guys are doing great..no big updates from me..
just wanted to post here and wish u all good luck for ur interviews..
Had a brief chat with my parents and a few friends..ive called of anymore CAT plans in the future..sounded painful for the first 2 to 3 days after i donated all my CAT material to this year aspirants..but yeah i didnt want to keep it and feel guilty and think abt CAT..life's gotta move on..

il be doing my MBA probably not now but maybe by 28(only 25 now) writing GMAT..exec MBA or the usual MBA.not decided on it..as of now taking a break from all this MBA stuff and concentrating on work and trying to make up for all the bad pathces at work so far..
also planning to save up some money during this recession period..
no onsite as of now..situation is terrible everywhere..might shift my job maybe 1 yr down the line..but as of now sticking to Infy..hope all u guys are preparing hard for ur GD/PI..will mail u guys all the GD/PI material tonight..

i remember this quote my dad told me when i was feeling bad(no jokes guys.he really said this)
"Oppurtunity knocks on your door only once in ur lifetime..but if you miss the oppurtunity dont worry abt the one you missed, build a window and make a new Oppurtunity come knocking again "

A small update :)

Srikanth and I have got SCMHRD call

My 2nd and final call of the season. Quite glad

We guys are leaving for Pune this Friday night... So GD/PI process starts now.

Wish we all could make it this time around.

Hi Sathya,

My advice is to join any one of the insti (TIME, IMS or CL) and start attending their weekend sessions
Last yr I attended TIME's GD-PI...they have it on all saturdays and sundays
Normally the program starts with a ppt about the basics and nitty-gritties of GD-PI...guess that should be over by now

And on all the weekends, you will have 7-8 GD sessions happening at a time.u can be a part of any of them..

Interviews - you got to register yourself at the center and book a slot..persons from the corporate world ll come n take mock interviews..
I didnt find it very useful last yr..but something s better than nothing..

The best way to prepare for GD is to practice a lot..
The best way to prepare for the interviews is to know thyself and be confident...reading other ppl's interview experience and getting ready for the kind of questions asked ll be a good thing to do...few mock interviews ll also help

Tough luck dude! We are on the same boat. I missed the VA cut-off by miles (Got only 81%ile :() Yet another useless 97+%ile. :|

I screwed up VA in XAT as well. Guess the season is over for me.

I'm gonna take a break for few months and come back fresh for CAT 09! I hope online CAT works in my favour.
