Yeah rightly said keeler bhai, CFA L1 is quite easy & if you can give 3-4 hours (if your JOKA LIFESTYLE always that ;))then L2 will be a piece of cake for you. ATB for Life @ Joka & CFA.

Well for level 1 I feel not more than 15-20 days of serious prep is required while for level 2 a consistent work of 2 months is a must. Level 1 questions are easy so an intelligent person will have no issues.

My 2 cents on CFA..
Preparation:-
1) 2.5 to 3 months of extensive preparation is needed for Level 1. Though the hours required vary but generally around 4-5 hrs per day from schweser notes for 2.5 months should be enough to clear Level 1.

My suggestion is just go for it take it in june 2013 for dec 2012 u have less time to prepare .You are already working in FF so the curriculum will be easy to understand and if u are really interested in finance u will find it very interesting .Most important thing u can take some break from CAT ...

Sirjee, You took it in the wrong way. I said the FF experience will be a game changer and not cfa. I guess almost 100 students must be doing cfa at joka, so it can't be a game changer.

CFA will be an add on. But not a game changer maybe. Just a valuable add on. If you can find time in addition to job and CAT preprations, do go for it. But only if you get time and not at cost of CAT prep...

CFA will definitely help. Even at FF, you are going to find every guy on terminal next to you pursuing it. But you should concentrate more on your job at FF.
