none of us can actually explain the criterion of selection. it can only be a guess work at best. may be the candidate you are referring to, fall under reservation category

Does anyone of you find any discrepancy in the scores calculated using the official key and your final results?

My Scores according to the official key is:
QA-36, DI-32,VA-59.

My results on the catiim website says:
QA-36,DI-27,VA-39.

I am totally shocked at these results. How can such a discrepancy come in my result. I just do not understand? If any one of you are in the same condition. PLease PM me.

Even I am getting a score of 44 in VA, but the keys are telling me 46.?? a dip of 2 marks in VA, I dont know how is that possible? I am sure to mark all the bubbles correctly there..It should have been 46 and not 44....It doesnt make hell lot of difference to me as of now, my %ile would be 97.67 to 97.89, but then all other people out here, sharing the same aberration, and willing to report it to the CAT people, please advice a step further ahead. If we all can file an RTI asking for such a discrepancy then it would be good...

Will all the individual IIMs be putting up a list of selected candidates ? Or is the Score Card the only place where one can get info about calls. It sounds highly unlikely coz some puys with excellent scores have ended up with no scores. Quite a few aberrant results on this forum.

Hate to be the one to break it to you buddy but if you don't see any calls on the results page then it generally means you haven't received any calls from the IIMs.

Good luck for the other institutes... you have a good score with balanced sectionals...

If nothing is mentioned then that means there is no calls from any iims. For the rest you will have to check their respective websites.

Congrats on your score dude...

MDI could be a little tough as they only called those who had at least a 97th percentile over all and no sectional below 80 last year.

S.P. Jain... no offense to the S.P. Jain alumni but their approach has always been a little ambiguous so keep your fingers crossed and hope that the powers that be wake up on the right side of the bed.

About NITIE, I think last year the cut-off was around 98. Not very sure on this and also their take on sectionals is not known to me... hope someone else answers this for you.

DI: 44 (98.43)
V: 52 (96.17)
OA: 138 (99.24)

No coaching institute gave me more than 42 in Verbal. One institute also gave me 32.So I was pleasantly surprised to see 52.

I am not a hardcore pagal or something but I immensely benefited from various files on CAT preparation uploaded online. Thanks puys for that.

There is no reevaluatio option. Only thing you can do is to take the RTI ACT route. And i dont think that you will do so for just 4 marks.

No, there is no option for reevaluation. It is possible that you might have missed some questions while marking in the omr sheet or you may have mismatched the question number and its corresponding answer. But if you are sure of yourself then you can not take the RTI ACT route.

My best wishes to every call getter. Do well in GD/PI and convert your calls.
My advice to each one of you: Prepare well on your work ex/ core subjects part. Recent happenings are must. You should know about your hobbies in detail.
