yearly fees for MMS is around 1.80 lacs..
and marketing in dalmis is much better than that in sies

see 19th rand in 2nd waiting list is too far for comfort. and confusing too.
Take my advice, play safe.
Keep Dalmia aside for now and keep trying for other college's PGDM and MMS seats.
If your fortune favours, u might just get a call from Dalmia that u have been selected, although it will take like 1 month(or even more) for your number to arrive.

I want to specialize in Marketing.
But N.L Dalmia is recognized for its Finance course.
Kindly advise how is the marketing course, placement scenario and avg package for marketing.
Also I have 2yrs work ex in a Logistics/Forwarding company. Will work ex assist during the final placements.

and trust me, marketing in dalmia is too good...some of us even feel its better than finance...u may not believe it..but its true..

129 is very low for open seats...
u might have got it in minority quota...but no chance in dalmia at 129/240 for general seats

your chances are not bad...u should get admission this year..
and there is no separate procedure for finance...first u secure your admission in th 1st year, then in th 2nd year onwards (when finance/marketing specialization starts) you will be offered the course which u want in...finance in this case..
Do no lose hope..

your chances are zero in case of an open seat...
For all th people, a score below 125/240 is very doubtful in case of minority quota (forget open seats)

Affidavit is required needy...
u need to submit all th docs wid th forms - domicile, affidavit and stanik nivas pramanpatra..
widout any of these, u would not get an admission..
u may think they are askin for redundant documents but u cant help it...u need an admission, u need to follow th procedure man...

there is a hostel facility provided by th college for around 20 students i guess (not sure about th number)
but hostel facility is ther...so u will definitely get accomodation, dont worry..

no senior will be waiting for 1 year for accomodation na...so u'l be with juniors only

work ex doesnt count in MMS..its just the marks u get for it that counts...
grad marks also are of no importance..

and minority quota is based purely on th score out of 240..nothing else..
so i say it again, at 109, u stand a veryy little chance of getting an admission thru minority..
its upto you whether u wana buy th minority form or not...

haha..lolz no way...our director boasts about "no management quota"...
chances of getting selected outside th 2nd waiting list are very rare...usually it doesnt happen..
a lot of my frnds didn get here bcz they were not in any of th waiting lists...

stanik niwas pramanpatra is absolutely necessary...get it made immediately..
bcz its always gud 2 hav a degree rather than a diploma...although education is the same for both PG and MMS.

I had acquired admission in NL Dalmia last year in PGDBM first, but then i got converted into MMS (Minority)
I was the last guy to get the minority seat.
I had scored 95 percentile and my score was 127/240
the trend remains pretty much the same every year and its very difficult to get into minority if your percentile is below 95.

Dude same with me. I had a very decent gd and excellent pi. Pi lasted for around 25 mins . But I dint even received a place in WL .
