bhai not only u but every one is excited ... ..what ever u may will get as a stipend that doesn't matter..the main thing is getting an exposure in your core field.... u already know the avg n highest stipend ..so y r u asking again the same thing ??
ab tu NIA me aa raha hai..ye thousnds ki baat mat kar..lakho wali baate kar..placement me lakhs me khele ga.. stipend ko maar goli..PLACEMENT ka soch ...

Is this Curriculum worthy for me or i should try for Institute of Insurance and Risk management (IIRM)

Insurance is a subset of Risk Management.
Worthy or not is for you to decide depending on your ambitions and priorities. IIRM offers 3 courses seperately in LI, GI and RM, duration is 1 year; NIA covers the entire gamut of insurance sector for a 2 year course. You can compare the curriculum covered there vis-a-vis the courses offered at NIA and decide which amongst the two meets your expectations.

1. just trousers nd shirts r enough
2. there is a basketball court. also there is badminton court,pool table,TT table,swimming pool,cricket/football/volleyball ground...
3. i don't think there is facility of coolers or AC...

well, i think there is WIFI in campus while LAN in the hostel...and it is available 24 hrs

i m not sure about basketball but there r facilities for badminton,TT..etc.....

Hi!!!

First of all, its not first come first serve basis, the list is prepared by the authority and room will be filled accordingly..Secondly, all the rooms are same, so there is not a matter of good or bad...Thirdly, the list will be prepared well in advance, therefore, anybody reach on 30th or 1st, it doesn't matter.

2, 3..Apart from studies, ther are indoor, outdoor games, swimmimg pool for pgdm students..

Private insurance companies, corporate insurance brokers, reinsurance companies places the students. Software companies also offers placment with good job profyl and pay package..!!

Bro, nia is a brand name in insurance. Its mecca of insurance industry. Many software companies, corporate brokers, insurance companies places the students of NIA.for 2010-12 batch, highest package was 10.6lacs, avg was 6.4lacs and lowest was round 4 according to the statistics. NIA is a very very good option according to me.

bhai theres regular bus service from NIA to shivaji nagar..n vice versa..so we can take that bus from NIA n get down at shivaji nagar...shivaji nagar in the main city..there are many malls..bazaar arnd that aera ..so we can do our shopping or what ever we want to do ...n then can take that bus frm shivaji nagar to NIA..last bus is at arnd 10.00 PM..n bus ticket cost..only Rs10 ....toh tension ki koi baat nai hai
