Here is something whatever I know to clear some of the doubts :-

1. Now NIA is AICTE approved. For your confirmation go to the link- http://www.niapune.com/index.aspx?idp=5&idc;=367 for more satisfaction go to the link on this page which will direct you to AICTE website.

2. Last year no foreign companies came for the placements, no information about previous years.

3. Around 50-60 candidates have taken admission till now(its not a wild guess).

4. Fee breakup and other information will soon be mailed and/or posted to the admitted students within a weeks period.(source of information NIA management).

5. Does not know about the number of girls who have taken admission.(ask NIA management and post it here also it will help every one ;):D).

6. AICTE approval for the academic year 2010-2011 means the batch which will be admitted in this period will be AICTE approved..and that means our batch is AICTE approved.

hope it solves some of the doubts.

After submitting,the form,you will have to mail them,& tell that you want to give a telephonic interview.Then if you are shortlisted,you will receive a mail from NIA,mentioning your date of telephonic PI.

well i hv been selected n hv not submitted d draft of 50 k...u will need to submit d first installment by 19th july..........
i.e-50k +175 k i guess

waise i think approval is always for a batch not on year basis so i think its for our batch atleast...obviously yar adhe time k liye nahi ho sakta...HALF AICTE approved lolz

Hey...

I guess you already know about the placement figures like the highest and the average packages. All 100% had been placed two months back itself. I had also told you guys about many of the firms which had come for the placements this year. Recently nothing new has happened. Most of the people have already joined their firms. Some are waiting as they have their joining in July/August. I guess that's it.

You'll have to call up the college to check if your form has reached. NIASoM does not send any confirmation letter.

Thats very good ! I am very happy about that. I will apply to the Bank of India for the loans. If they get the AICTE approval that will be beneficial as well!!

THat's good news.... I guess that solves your loan issues. Also last year Bank of India's interest rates were the lowest. So it shouldn't be very high this year too.
