where will MFC-Du conduct GDPI?only at delhi or at some other metro also?

The GDPI shortlist according to the given weightage should be like this I believe;

1)75% 0f CAT score

2)marks out of 10 for Xth and XIIth each.

No it wasn't mentioned in the form or the prospectus. The prospectus already contained the detailed weight distribution and bloating it further would have rendered it a case information overload. The scaling range was posted here on PG, after asking the Admissions Coordinator, as a response to one of the queries.

There are still envelopes containing the prospectus waiting to be dispatched. Yours might be one of them. There is no question of applications being rejected, on non serious grounds atleast. (I've even seen Admissions Team calling up applicants to verify some info which might have been vague).

60% is no ineligibility condition but only a handicap. If you are able to muster enough points on the basis of CAT and Class 12th and Maths score then you can very well make it to DFS.

As far as I am concerned, I have:
Xth : 84.4
XIIth : 79.6
Maths : 92
and degree is B-Tech.


So, if they consider the calculations in absolute terms, then my score comes out to be 18.70 (8.44+7.96+2.30) and if scaling is there, then it comes down to 15.25 (7+6+2.25), rendering it to be a hopeless case.

Same is the case with me ... and in my case the disparity is Huge!! with 89.2 ,84.8 and what could have been a decent 17.4 will now be a dismal 15...

503 called for 128 seats (82+46). That is almost 4:1 ratio, so whoever gets a call shall be able to convert it.

Graduation percentage isn't a deciding factor when it comes to GDPI shortlist. You can mention your correct percentage during the PI.

If we save our profile online and make any changes in it later on are the changes reflected in the university DB too?
I had changed my DD no before sending it and it has been several days since i sent it, however the site still reflects my application status as "payment pending"?
is it possible that this is a case of mismatch between the actual DD no stored in MFC Database and the one sent by me and that my application mite be rejected :nono:!!??
