My second query is... what is the scope for people interested in research. Is there anyone who followed that path? I am interested in pursuing Ph D in finance after my post grad. Thanks in advance

The waitlist for general category moved to the 40's
None of our seniors (AFAIK) are going for a PhD but MFC being a Masters degree as opposed to a PG Diploma, you are free to go for research after MFC. In fact one of our professors did a PhD after doing his MFC and there are students in my class who are interested in a career in teaching and may go for a PhD after MFC.

What you've heard is correct.
But still belonging to reserved category, you have a decent chance at getting a call if you score good in CAT.

Yes you can and should. Mention your best achievements outside the academic spheres whatever they are because others will be doing the same. Its better than keeping it blank thinking that so and so certificate might be irrelevant to finance / Biz Economics.

Currently we have four students from ESC PAU, France studying with us at DFS and in return DFS students undertake summer training in France. We have similar Arrangements with REIMS Management School, REIMS Codex, France and Institute National des Telecommunications, Evry, France.
MoU's were signed this year with University of Leicester, England and Akron University, USA which when come through should enable student exchange with these B-Schools.

Can we change interview dates. There are chances our interview date may clash with that of Nitie as the gd/pi window is same for both the colleges.

Requests for changes in the interview dates for any clashes with other colleges were entertained last year. Send in an email to admissions@mfc.edu requesting the change.

Hi Gautam,
This is your reworked cumulative score that the software would have calculated and hence you could not make the cut for MFC. I think you weren't aware of the ranges allotted for weighing the class 10th,12th and maths marks.

CAT =94.76*0.75=71.07 (75% weight)
10th=9 (10% weight)
12th=7 (10% weight)
12th maths=6*0.25=1.5 (2.5% weight)
Relevant Degree= 0 (2.5% weight)

Total=88.57
