I would like to know if the PGDM-Fiannce of LBSIM is AICTE approved or not. The site has the letter from AIU specifying that PGDM of LBSIM is equivalent to MBA but speaks nothing as such for PGDM(Finance), also as per the latest Mandatory Disclosure document of LBSIM, accredition for only PGDM is given. HOW can that be???? IS PGDM(F) equivalent to MBA or not???

I am completly Disappointed by the Practices being followed ad LBSIM.I was waitlisted 51 and did not received any notification about my seat confirmation as waitlist went upto 120+.They just called once and just enquired where I have joined and did not disclosed their identity. I tried contacting Mr Mathew and wrote him a mail as well but career of a student is of hardly any importance to him.He was not courageous enough to reply me.
Though they admiited their mistake and promised to do something but it was too late.....I wonder what justice these people are doing to the name of Lal Bahadur Shashtri.... :-(

The institue was officially closed for the annual outreach program and i could not get any time this week. I will speak with admin next week and will clarify the things with you

Thnx isha. I dnt know my sec yet. M still waitlistd at mfc, but m hopn i'll convrt it nxt week. No doubt lbs is gud, but i hav sum probs with its timngs. So, will make d decision of withdrawl by nxt week. ATB to u too!

have to wait for more than 91 days(to be specific 105 days).......and for 91 pages for my wl 91 to get cleared......but finally all this wait seems to have paid .....took admission yesterday and got GENERAL management....looking forward to join classes from 20th

I read in a magazine that during last placement avg pkg was 7.4L, max 12L and there were global placements too like in Singapore and Middle East....

Does anyone have any idea about the kind of packages have been offered to Finance pple over last few years?? Also whether or not the higher ones went to freshers or were there just for the experienced?? and also hwz the summer training here @LBSIM..where can we go to learn?? nationally or globally??

Anyone from South Delhi (like Saket, Malviya Nagar etc) joining LBSIM???

I am no senior, but i can answer your question.
See the companies which recruit from IIM,XLRI,FMS, they go there with different set of pay packages and profile, then which they offer at tier 2 colleges like LBSIM or others.
So generally there is no overlapping between the offers made at these two categories, so placement wont get affected here.
But with opening up of New IIM, will surely affect MDI,NITIE,JBIMS and likes, not in a regular way but it will affect the top offers slipping out of their hands and going to IIMs.

hey dhruv on 17th may waitlist moves by 15 for IB program and next movement was on 18th may the very next day waitlist moves by 5
may be the persons who are selected on 18th may are under buffer calls may be thats y there is no movement in waitlist but donot worry there will be some movement in the waitlist on this tuesday ATB

I withdrew from FORE 5 DAYS BACK N TOOK ADMISSION IN LBSIM.. but as per d lady in the admission office d movement in IMG will be very less...
so don't worry be a bit more patient till d commencement of d session..
