i would like to add one more thing to your analysis placement wise F is not as good as L coz i talked to my friend in F and still 30 students are unplaced where as in L almost all are placed and also package wise both are at Par so whats i left is ROI and Atmospehere so i think ROI is more imp as in F you have to shed 11 lakhs where as in L only 6 Lakhs so 5 lakhs diff. is a huge amt.

Yeah only fee is only motivating factor for LBS but you can't make decision only on the basis of fee you have to consider other factor also....and apart from that director gautam sinha's tenure is over this also have an impact....i am also in same dilemma......bcoz you cant go for MBA every day..

Go through the previous posts. The hostel is located very near to the campus. AC and Non AC rooms are available and the cost is arnd 6k pm.

And just in case you don't get a room, there's always the option to take a flat.... :)

In the application form given along with offer letter, they have listed couple of documents to be brought in original, one of them being metric certificate another being senior secondary certificate.

Authorities at college were prompt enough to provide me the document ASAP (thanks to Rajan Mathew sir). Total course fees that is mentioned in that document is Rs 6,06,250. I inquired about hostel facility of LBSIM and obtained information about same. It is known as SMT. Lalita Shastri Hostel. Fee details of hostel as mentioned in its pamphlet are:
1. Security Deposit: Rs 19500(Rs 6500*3)
2. Hostel Fee: Rs 19500 Per Quater ( includes accomodation and mess).
At time of admission student needs to deposit Rs 39000(19500 sec dep. + 19500 hostel quater 1) and three post dated cheque Rs 19500 shud b submitted at tim of applying for the hostel.
3. AC rooms are also available at Rs 4800 annually+ electricity charges.
4. Cooler and transport are also available.
I will upload the scan of pamphlet soon. Hostel mess is not good as per those students who are using hostel facility.
I was willing to meet senoirs of PGDM but none was available, though i interacted with MCA students.
Everything seemed to be in place and fine but when i stepped out of college campus and turned back to catch a glance, i couldn't stop myself from asking this question to I "Can i rely on LBSIM for an everlasting and complete MBA education and experience..?" because this is probably the last time i am having opportunity to live student life.
