sir/madam.i had applied for a loan at sbi bank where my loan was refused saying the college is not approved by aicte.after that i checked at the aicte website and found the name of kiams missing from the list of approved aicte colleges for pgdm courses.now i m not questioning anything and i completely want to take admissions at kiams.but without aicte approval i probably cant get a bank loan.kindly help me.i require some proof or something to show to the ban that the college is approved by aicte otherwise my loan will not be sanctioned and i wud have to give up my admission dreams.

And as you said the admission is through first come first serve, obviously the ones who will pay earlier than you will be cleared first...so if you are interested send the DD. Also one thing that I am confused about KIAMS is as per AICTE rules if anyone withdraws admission fee, he would be refunded his money after deduction of Rs 1000. I guess KIAMS is not following that...can seniors tell me about the real picture.

There will not be any difference between both the campuses in all the things including placements (pooled placements), faculty (pooled faculty),exams, events and policies. So nothing to worry about it.

Sorry to correct my friend..... Actually there is a stay in Supreme court as per Latest news. Hopefully it will come positive towards B-schools in Maharastra. But for Karnataka no problems..... Remaining all are same....We are just intimating the facts. Finally you have to take decision....

There will not be any difference between both the campuses in all the things including placements (pooled placements), faculty (pooled faculty),exams, events and policies. So nothing to worry about it.

The average package mentioned is CTC and the infrastructure is getting expanded for the more number of intakes as permitted by AICTE. The pics you have on the website are the ones of the present campus. One new boys hostel, one girls', and an additional faculty rooms' floor is being constructed right now. The college was initially built for 60 students. But an excess capacity was built and thats how our batch got comfortable rooms. So, at present due to further increase, new blocks are constructed.
I hope this answers your queries about the campus.

Not to be rude or anything, but does anyone follow the previous posts or just do a search and open kirloskar thread and ask any question that comes to mind. We had told umpteen number of times about fee refund, placement, updation of average package on website, about waiting list and results and to approach the admissions department. Please check the previous posts. I had also mentioned we have our exams going on and will be free from 23rd and will only reply to posts which have not been repeated.

As far as the director attending the interview with "slippers" is concerned, I had a talk with him regarding this and he informed that he had asked the first batch of the GD/PI students if he can take the interview in slippers or them to give him 20 mins time so that he can change and come as the flight was late and he did not have time to change. Who ever went late to GD/PI or had the next batch as GD/PI obviously didnt know about this. We never had him come in such an attire even for our regular classes. Do you really think he'll actually prefer to spoil the image of the college with such attitude?

About one having 92 percentile in XAT (I dont remember the exact number, sorry if its wrong). Yes, everyone knows the fact that Kirloskar is not prefered by many students if they have a good percentile and a chance to join a better college. But let me assure you there are people here with 96 and 95 percentiles of CAT. That is the reason who ever is interested in this college are following the thread, to know if it is good to join the college and we have no-where mentioned that our college is the best but
gave you facts and asked you to decide on personal priorities. Before anyone makes a judgement about anyone or their decision, they would want to know everything about the college and thats what we are doing. Providing facts. Am sorry for being rude or angry but we have exams and seeing the posts repeated with same queries after our humble request, I got a little upset. Please do not ask without following or going through the thread.

If you are in first waiting list i would say you have better chances. but college follows first come first serve method so if you pay the fee earlier you will have more chances than others in the waiting list.So make it fast.

Is dat a pi or a joke made out of me by calling me 2 gdpi and den sending back.
I dont know wat andd how u ppl will defend his action bt if u r student dre den u should ask him wat was he doing dere. He was in sleepers. I dont know why was i called and nt given even a waitng call letter.
Jst genuinely tell wat was it.

Dis isn't the way to treat MBA aspirants.I myself attended the GD/PI here in Pune nd did not find any such problems (Got the spot offer too).

KIAMS won't give any assistance but if you need any documents from the college for loan purpose they will issue immediately. KIAMS has tie up with SBI harihar but regarding loan it wont be useful as you have apply at your residence.

Hi,
The break up of fee structure can be obtained from college. We did the same last year. You can call up the college and ask for it. I think the break up is mentioned in the prospectus as well. It was mentioned in ours. Go through the few pages of it carefully. You may find it, else call the college and request for a soft copy if its urgent else ask them to post a hard copy to you.

We have clearly mentioned in the earlier posts that KIAMS doesnt display any shortlisted candidates list on their website. I understand your anxiety but the college will send you the email if selected. If you want to find out the exact status then you can call up the admissions office and find out.
Our exams are starting from day after so our replies will reduce and will get back from 23rd on wards. In the mean time, we will try to reply to as many queries as possible. You can help us by posting the query which has not been asked earlier. If we do not reply to the post, please understand it has been answered earlier to someone else and the answer remains the same.
One more request to you people is that, please do not PM asking us the placement scenario of the college and so forth for which the facts have already been mentioned. We are not presenting any painted picture of the college. What we are presenting in the forum are facts and nothing to attract you to join the college. Please take it as a request. Its nothing of a personal anger towards anyone.

First of all my hearty congratulations to you and welcome to the Campus.
Coming to the point, you have to pay the first installment fee of Rs.1,10,000
through demand draft and then mention your preferred campus on the back side of your demand draft and send it to the college address mentioned.

Most probably you will get the campus that you chose in the application form.

Harihar campus fees is 6.4 lakh only. Once call admission office and check about that. Which campus is confirmed and fees? Might be some mistake is there. Or PM me your name and application number. I will check with them and then i will reply to you.

As per the queries regarding the non refundable fees please contact the admissions department as per the AICTE rules you will be refunded all the money expect 1000. Also all those who are in the waiting list be optimistic as due to increase in seats you have a good chance of getting the call letter. Those who have any further queries about their selection, the final list will be there on KIAMS website as per the date told to you and you can even call the admission department regarding your admission, telling them your application number. hii.. i gt the confirmation letter yesterday after my PI.. i m so glad dat i gt through.. bt in the letter it is written "Your first installment is Rs. 1,40,000 non-refundable towards fees of Rs 6.4 lakhs."
