i got call from imtn. my cat 07 percentile is 93.51. i have to go on 15th fab 07. at nagpur.
it is not mentioned there in site that i have got call from gaziabad or nagpur!!!!!
does gd at nagpur signifies that i got call from nagpur only ???
secondly, i want to know about the placement there in nagpur, last year. was it 100%??? what was avg. package??
thirdly, can u give me some ideas about topics of gds asked last year kind of interviews they conduct...

@deepak its not possible for us to tell the cutoff for iifmr and as far as imt nagpur is concerned it must be around 92.
@shrijit_s,wait for 2-3 days as generally letters are dispatched from ghaziabad,if still u dont receive the letter,we will definitely try to help you out.

Congratulations to all call getters!

GD-PI process may not that tough what people think.It all depends on how you take it. You just need to be cool and calm in the interview. GD is more about General Knowledge and common sense.Just 2-3 valid points and you are in.Dont press too hard.But prepare well.Questions like "Why MBA?Why IMT-N?Other calls?etc " may be asked.People who completed graduation in 2006 need to justify the time gap.

For business related GD's- Go through Tata-Corus deal,Hutch deal.
I expect topics like this to be given in GD.

@amsdie - dont get worried. 93.81%ile is good.Hope for the best.

@Sudhir Pawar - No point feeling depressed.The form would be almost same as I remember. Be careful in filling the form.Decide in advance your preferences to avoid any kind of confusion there.I guess you pretty sure of what you wanna do,And about GD/PI dates clashing,you can contact to the person concerned written in the call letters of all the colleges.Try and call & fix it up fast.Dont delay a single moment.

last time when we had our interviews,we were allowed to change the preferences at the time of interview but be careful while filling the preferences as later on it will not be changed under any circumstances(and give it a good thought before going for gd/interview so u dont get confused at the last moment).Second thing interviews may start from 12 feb itself atleast fot the nagpur venue,so start preparing now..all d best

Dude, me too almost same. CAT %ile is 95.02. My IMT Nagpur interview is at Nitie, Mumbai on 20th Feb at 1 pm. I also have NMIMS call (rank 234) and IMI call (PGP), TAPMI as well

well some of us are getting call from imt n . with imt g cut off of 96 they and no sectional hope i clear with 92.5 .
iimt should post the shedule in the website as it would help us to know the dates and plan accordingly . hope any seniors look in this matter.

i seriously doubt if d site will work perfectly in some time..for IMTg d cut off is 96 wid no sectionals...all d letters were dispatched on 27th jan n will reach by 2mrw max.
for IMT n all d letters wre dispatched on 28th jan...
i hv got a call at 94.77...
d cut off might be a little lower arnd 92.5(just an inference)

Thank u all 1st of all 4 spending ur precious time wd us all!

My CAT score is 92.72%ile wd sectionally as:

Quants: 98%ile wd 56% score
VA: 79%ile wd 13% score
DI: 69%ile wd 26% score

Final yr BSc(Computers), decent acad, decent extra-curri but no wrk-exp!
What r my chances of making it 2 IMT_Gazbd/Nagpr...?
Besides this, does d preferences(which we filled in d IMT form) make any difference??
can v change d pref. if we disire so now....?
my pref were:
1) PGP-IMT_Gazbd
2) PGP-IMT_Nagpr
3) PGP(IT)-IMT_Gazbd
4) PGP(IB)_IMT_Gazbd
5) PGP(IT)_IMT_Nagpr

Urs i would say is a border line case, last yr cutoff for marketing and finance was 90%ile, we are expecting it to be arnd 92 this time, for HR and IT u should be getting a call.

We're expecting the cut-offs to be somewhere close to 92%ile so a call from IMTN should be certain for you.

Helloh! Everybody. This is quite urgent and needs to b answered sOOn. I got 82%ile in this years CAT and as it isn't a good scroe and as i didn't fill ne forms i am not entitled to get ne calls. My intrest lies in knowing whethr i can get ne calls as of now...although its late but i jus want to experience the GD fr once so that the next time ..blah blah (hope its understandable)

its good u want an experience....for that look for colleges whose date is still there.there will be few and if u dont want to take chances join a good coaching institute's gd/pi training program.....many of them simulate the real conditions so u wont know the diff..........
