there is no fee waiver. The scholar loan scheme is really good. you get advantage of lower interest rate, faster processing with no collateral. However, every year, IMT comes up with a tie up with some bank with the lowest interest rates. Wait for the mail from IMT regarding details about that scheme. In the meantime, you can keep you documents ready. the list of documents reqd is almost same for most banks. you can get that list of docs. reqd from SBI website.

moreover , i had a conversation with a person named Mr. Ashutosh , of SBI Ghz branch, who deals with the section of scholar loans and he sent me a mail regarding the details. If anyone wants the same, just give me your e mail id and ill forward it.

4. Go thru the brochure-there are buddy prgrammes with kellogs even with escp ..its truw that only 6 or 10 students really get selected for that but then if you work you ll do well.
5. there are people i know who ve interned in JP morgan
6. people across colleges are weak/unplaced/or have less cgpa.
7. IMT-G has a consistent top ranking/excellent study/research/strong alumni base/infratructure/. And yaa...its proof enough that you re repeatedly considering your options.
8. my CAT score: 95.9 i work for samsung my package is 4.8 with almost a yearlong experience. I pledged that i wont go anywhr below top 20 collges n IMT has always been one of them. Consistent.
9. Visit linked.in for the alumni profiles people are working for p&g;, viacom 18. Its a strong alumni base!!

heard a lot of negatives abt IMT Gaziabad. How true is dat??? Is it true that teh placement scnario out there is not pleasing...they say 100% are placed but i read smwhr dat almost 80 students are remaining..how true is dat??? Kindly put ur views.

I had the same issue.. First thing first.. Calling up 'helpline' isn't going to do any good.. They don't know anything..They will give you the number of a guy who won't pick up your call or just cancel it..
There is no use expecting a reply after mailing them because they will never reply..
When I sent my 50,000 wala DD, I had sent a written application to change my address.. Called them, mailed them, shouted at the helpline number.. No response.. Finally when I received the mail to pay up 1,75,00 I noticed that the address had been changed.. So the bottom line is that just do everything possible and hope for change in the address..

firstly simply dont pay 1.75 ... ur candidature will automatically be cancelled.. hehe for refund, if address has changed, personally jake le liyo DD ... and call up admissions office and ask for their opinion bro.

Hi Seniors, couple of queries but relevant I guess:

1) The official website talks about 2 majors. Here is the exact wording: "You have a choice to major in either one or two specializations, i.e. you could choose to major in Marketing and Finance or only in Marketing." So what exactly does a major in 2 specializations mean? And if we have an option of selecting the electives on our own, then how does the specialization that we are being allotted now matters?


2) I have currently got Finance @ Ghaziabad campus. I had given PGDM-FT as my first preference, and I m still uncertain as to which specialization suits me best(I know its nt a good state to be in). Given the scenario, aren't the IB guys better as they have the liberty to choose either finance or marketing and the course differs in only a couple of subjects(AFAIK)?

Please enlighten me.. Thanks.

Looks like a lot of people are withdrawing their admission. Hoping for a massive movement bcoz I want an up gradation from DCP.

I dont want to demorlise you as i am from dcp too. but If we wise fully saw that dcp people need to submit money in emirates bank.If DCP really would have been on their cards of up-gradation they should ask some lesser amount and in the ghaziabad branch which can be easily transfer to emirates bank in case of no upgradation. but they didn't do it for some reason ,may be too many buffer calls. Now I am realising I did the mistake by neglecting the buffer calls post some where in between in this thread from page 180-200 if I am not wrong.

Anyway, the best that some of us could think of is that if anyone of the puys stay in Gzb/Delhi, then they can personally go to the office and find out the answers to the questions that we are desperately waiting for..

Seniors please let me know, in case I submit 2nd installment for DCP :
1) if I need to get refund, where will I need to write application to..?
2) plz plz... there is lot of suspense on this... will there be any upgrades from DCP to IT, IB, Fin, FT in Ghz
3) In case I got upgraded to Ghz, how will fees deposited in 2nd installment in AED( ie nearly 4.35L) will be managed as fees in Ghz is in INR..

Don't think that is required because if you have quoted your application number then they can jolly well make out that you were offered admission. But then again its IMT.. No one knows.. Give a call to their admission 'help' desk.. but i doubt they will be of much help.. As of now just wait and watch..

Humble request: Please don't double post, this thread already has about 2,900 posts and half of them are repetitive, you would've gotten your answer if you had joined the FB group or gone back a few pages on this thread.

PS: Last date for DCP 2nd installment is 15th and not 4th May.
