I have following queries :

1) Avg , lowest and highest package in imt Ghaziabad
2) I heard that placements have taken a toll as the number of seats have been increased.Is it true?
3) The quality of the placements offers ( I am a working professional with more that 30 months of experience in TCS.. is this college really worth it)
4) I have got a call for PGDM FT (never knew that it was marketing)
I want to my mba with operations as an elective.. would this be possible in pgdm FT? Also, want to know ..would I be , then, eligible to appear for campus placements for operation based companies ?
5)In other case, if i want to change it to pgdm finance.. is it possible..?
if yes , procedure(if any) or does this depends on luck ?

Few points to ponder upon -

- Batch size 420 + 180 (DCP).....
- Clustered manner of student intake.....No difference between someone with a CAT 96+percentile and others who somehow get in thro CMAT or low score in XAT.
- 12 Lacs fees (50% increase from 6 lacs in Batch 2007-09)
- Placement standard obviously affected big time.....
- ROI gone for a big toss.
- The only silver lining....Some b school survey which will still put it in Top 10 category.....

regarding the placements tht u have mentioned do u have any confirmed source for the same? and also is it true tht placements for diff campuses are conducted together?

In my opinion the criteria of selection should be having less academic but more GD-PI and Cat/XAT/GMAT score consideration since my acads are pretty poor.

hello, sorry to gatecrash..but I couldn't resist, as this post has been answered multiple times in multiple threads..

PGDM-FT= marketing only. There is not general pgdm at Ghaziabad. And I dont know much about whether we can change specializations. hope this helps. p.s. I'm an imt aspirant too..who has converted and is feeling good about it!!

Friends Converted PGDM Finance and i wanted to enter in to PGDM FT..

IS there any way which i can make it if ppl selected for PGDM FT withdraws in due course. Or there will be a separate wait-list for PGDM FT :)

Got converted PGDM (IB).
Now the thing is that I don't exactly remember whether I placed PGDM-HR before PGDM-IB, but now I am not interested for PGDM-HR. So, if by chance I placed PGDM-HR b4 PGDM-IB then will it be automatically upgraded during the sliding process? Is there any way to know wt was my preference order?

I know it's an unusual situation but can you help me out of this fix.

You missed out the guys from the dubai campus. Seniors had gone on a strike protesting this. More than hundred students are picked up by some or the other it company for 4-5 lakhs. Good offers come too.. No doubt about that. But these facts cannot be ignored too. Fee is too high for such a big batch I feel.

1. I have received offer for PGDM-Finanace at ghaziabad Campus. the fees of 50000 needs to be submitted by 2nd april for confirmation. Now in order to have up gradation from PGDM-Finance to PDM-FT is it necessary to pay those 50000 rs?? or I am not supposed to pay that as mail was sent for PGDM-Finance only
   
2. Also will I offer admission to the PGDM-FT even if My first preference was PGDM-Finance only and PGDM-FT was my second preference. honestly Speaking I Don't remember the preferences had given in the form.:banghead::banghead:
   

3. Is first year curriculum is same for all the PGDM Programme(FT, Finance, HR,IT) and specialization is given in 2nd year only. or is it different from firt year itself??

I have got a mail "We are pleased to make you a provisional offer of admission to our PGDM (Dual Country Program) for 2012-2014 Batch." does it mean that I am not selected for IMT G (FT) or there are still chances???? and they are asking to pay a fee of Rs : 50000 by 2nd of April. If I pay this amount and after that got selected for other college like MDI and I wish to join that college... weather I will get my 50000 back or will I get the amount with some deduction or will I not get any amount back.... Yes it means you will not be considered for IMT G ...rest you can ask at the DCP thread.....
