If really, we need to go and cancel, that would be a big deal then...I am in Hyd and for me going to Delhi will be a 24 hrs game...We should wait for the seniors to come up with the valid points...I believe...a letter should suffice according to the AICTE norms..


I request the other puys..to call more and more and confirm the details here on PG..that will be helpful for all of us..

I submitted the drafts in person on 22nd itself. Website says no record found. So I guess they are still uploading data.

According to DTDC mine was delivered 6 days ago.. Most probably all the data is not UP yet.

Do a pros-cons cmparison

Greatlakes pgdm 1. Lesser strength of guys as cmpard to Imt g. So plcing them is relatively easier. 2. Great faculty,foriegn elements.. 3. Lesser fees cmpard to imt dcp , dcp wud cost around 18-19 lakhs,mayb more if u spend a lot in dubai.

Imt G dcp - 1. Upgradation if it happns, wel and gud. Nthng btr than Imt g. 2. Internatnl exposure 3. Brand Imt. 4. Atleast not cmpltly a new course, so u cud hv atlst sme idea abt evrythng.

all said and done, the money involvd in Dcp is an ovrwhlming aspect.. That itslf puts Greatlakes a tad ahead though in its v.first year.

i guess u never read my post complete ..i qouted the fig given by Mr Sayan Das and said everything on that ..if u have even a lil bit of knowledge abt the pay package of other colleges then u will c the fig is on the higher side than IMT G ..bhaiya ji food for that to wahin lagega na jahan figure hoga ..IMT G ka fig tha isliye ...apna dimag na lagaye ..waise hi kam hai ..bekar mai kharch na kare 9932019379...

arey yar tum to bura maan gye.. i just wanted to say that , maximum of the colleges mention CTC (cost to company) packages.. that includes various allowances, PF, Gratuity etc.. none of the colleges mention packages excluding tax.So, i just intended to say that it is understood that, agar 7.5 lks ka package hai to 62500 hath me nahi aayega.. there is a separate break up for every company.. that is why it is called a "package" i suppose..
and dude, if i am wrong, correct me using a good language...

haha u mean to say the package figures given by other colleges are not CTC figures?? man, its the same for maximum clg placement figures. This "food for thot" has to be applied to all the colleges; not exclusive for IMT G.. :D

u can check the website for placement records exp wise... also check the mandatory disclosure link on top left corner of the site...
Personally I think IMT G is better than Great Lakes... consider you interest in IB...

Refund money till 25th april and those who have got DCP programme, dnt knw whether they will get their money back or not if there is no upgradation..

I sent DD with the hope that i'll get upgradation and now evrythng seems to be unclear...

I got DCP converted...Can anyone clear me whether I'll get refund amount if no one else fill my seat..

I cant afford to loose 50k like that just because reputed institute doesnt clear the norms..:(

If not SCMHRD(HR), you can go for other specializations in there.
If not SCMHRD(other specializations), IMT is also a very good college for Marketing or FT, which you have got, if you are interested in Marketing...

Moreover, check Pagalguy's Rankings as well.

Dude what can seniors do in it..
It completely depend on what management decides.
Students have very less control on these things in private colleges..

If management is trying to shrewd, seniors cannt do anything.
The lady who is there on helpdesk is just a puppet, she tells whatever she gets.
