I have converted IMT-G. I had filled my preference as HR but I want to change it to fin/ MARKETING. Is dis possible??? No one is responding to the phone calls. Seniors please help...... it is already getting late to submit the fee.

i got mail from IMT-N, but they not specified any specialization. its simply mentioned PGDM course.

Seniors I have converted IMT G for the DCP course...even though it wasn't my preferrence...can anyone throw some light on this???

mayank..just go to the IMT converts thread and see the mayhem there!!!No one has any idea of where they stand.I feel for the seniors sometimes.
1)people are getting prefeerences they havent even filled.
2)people don't even know if they have been rejected sure shot or not
3)Some time ago they also said that some programes cant be upgraded,now i think they are backtracking.
4)No one knows what really was the criteria for conversion
Anyway..i rest my case...i am unsubscribing from this thread...all the best to you for your other calls

I agree, I wonder why they did not upload the PDF. Well let's hope for the best. I am sure they would have taken a decision considering multiple factors both from the student and institute's perspective.

I totally agree with you but would still like to add that you can expect a long wait list considering the other B skuls. Don't really worry about that.

Also, with the technological advancement sending a mail to individual students or uploading a PDF would take almost similar time. Most of the B schools use Cloud Computing with hosts like SalesForce, etc.

I was wondering what could be the reason the results are being declared in this manner! So if there's someone who doesn't use PG, and hasn't received any mails yet from IMT, means he/she still does not know if IMT results are declared (leave apart his own selection/rejection)?

This wait is hard on the students, and as far as I can intelligently guess, this method is more difficult for the authorities as well (rather than uploading a pdf on the website or the similar, isn't it?).

The only thing that this method CAN and WILL do is deny outsiders (read future aspirants and the like) and perhaps even this year's applicants the info that by how many numbers the wait list moved. Just my analysis. Not a comment whether this is a good or bad or secretive or nervous decision by IMT.

I have got admission mail for pgdm from imt nagpur. My appliacation number,address, contact number is correct in the mail but god knows why my name has been changed.i called the admission office and they told office is closed. Now am very much confused whether i am selected or not.
