well unfortunately mate, such arrangements will not be made for u... however the best thing wud be for u to speak to the mess committee members once u are here in coll.. as of now, i dont think such a thing is possible for jus one student...

Upgradation process is completed.. There is a link for this on the site. By providing CAT registration no. you will know whether u r upgraded or not.

Hey... i called a few days ago... then they dint say anything abt sending orinal fee receipt copy... ya sure abt it?

even i also sent the photocopy of fee receipt earlier today i called up 01203002204, 5 they told that my cheque is ready and they will send once they receive the original receipt
so i have sent the original receipt (one photocopy i have retained for future) to chairman admissions will follow up and hoping for the best

Dear Seniors,

As directed by you, I submitted my application for refund way back on April 29th. I sent an application and a xerox of my final receipt. But I am still to get my refund. Now when I called up the fin dept., they say that I will have to post my original receipt to them to get the amount back.:(

My queries are:
1) Why wasn't it told earlier. The previous letter was processed by the admissions but only in finance dept., it got rejected. I don't think those who've got their refunds have submitted the original receipts.
2) If suppose the original receipt gets lost in transit due to some postal goof-ups or some other reason, then what proof will I have that I've made the payment?
3) Since the last day was 17th May, will this fresh application have effects on the amount that I am gonna receive back from Ghb?

Procedure is simple- just a simple application & ur fee receipt u got at the time of accepting admn...

So, those people who r opting out , do the same on/bfore 17 may.....
as u might not get full amount refunded after that.......... :-P

also right now only preferences are being asked the upgrade process will happen later. the cut off date for withdrawl remains 17th. the upgrade process right now is for ghaziabad candidates only. nagpur guys have to wait a little bit longer

cause aicte guidelines say that if u withdraw before joining only 1k would be cut.

i have a serious dilemma, i got 99.44%ile in CAT and secured 183 ranks in IMT. i have chosen Fin at Ghz. i am working in software firm from last two years. A lot of people are advising me against joining IMT and rather give CAT again. i want seniors to help me here in deciding.
a) do IMT recieve same companies for finance as IIMs or institues like XLRI,SPJ etc. ?
b) what was the general package finance student recieved this year?
c) did fin batch go to finance jobs or marketing jobs ( in case they have marketing as minor)?
i want to go to hardcore finance job as i am looking to do CFA down the line.
does IMT has that kind of environment where people prepare for CFA?

i know i asked too many question. please anweres as many question as you can.

Future prospects depends on course not on location. If your interest is HR (or whatever be the course), take it at your best available institute.

You can always grow if you follow a course of your choice.
