Hello - So the test series season has finally begun. I've joined the IMS Test Series and my Simcat Venue was at Dadar this morning. I was surprised to see the arranagement made there for the test.
1. It wasn't an external venue. It was at the Dadar Centre only.
2. Due to some difficulty, my system was not logging me in. I had to start my test 30 mins after the other started their test.
3. There were no E-labs. But we had to use the staff PC to take the test. :sneaky:
4. These PCs were kept at the office lobby having just 3 PCs.
5. The classroom students who had their batch scheduled were coming and going, making all sorts of noise, chattering all the time.
6. The faculties came and were calling out loud to the attendant for tea/coffee.
7. When I asked one of the faculty there and requested him to speak softly as there were SIMCATs going on, he replied rudely saying that "This is office. How can he not talk" I again requested him that you being a faculty member, you must consider the difficulties that students are facing. To which he simply replied "This is something that IMS and YOU GUYS need to sort out" and he continued chattering all the way.

I can now understand how mature the IMS Faculties are and would not recommend anyone for Classroom batches, at least.
8. As we were using staff PCs, there were telephones kept at the desk which were ringing after every 15-20 mins.
Amongst all this, we were taking our test which IMS believes is just a joke. How awfully managed and test delivered at this centre. I'm not sure about the centres. Can someone please throw some light on your experiences in other centres and what can be done to ensure that this doesn't happen again?
Thanks.
