hey archana,i got the mail from satish sir that i ve been selected for pgdit as i was in waiting list but when i open the imdr website it is showing that admission is closed and there are no vacancies.i was about to pay the fees today and i send a mail to sir but he din reply yet.

in the mail, it must be stated your last date of payment of fees...

the website which is showing -admissions closed - is for those students who wish to apply for imdr now...

but for you, u must ve got a last date for payment of fees.....still if u ve ne problm, u can call to the office nd chk out....

Though i am not joining imdr, but still as i am also an engg. So i can suggest a book named how to read a balance sheet by prof h bhattacharya.
This book will provide u all the basics u need for finance subjects.

I have created a page on Facebook .."imdr PGDHR 2010-2012"...ppl taking adm in HR plz join it...

if they have confirmed that they have received ur DD...then dats it, i guess they wont send confirmation mails of ur DD...

nopes....generally PGDIT students dont sit in PGDM called companies nd same goes for pgdm too...but it depends upon ur batch, if ur batch decides to ve a single placement committee vth pgdm students, den u can both take a mutual decision....coz companies r called by de students (placement committee) not de college....

i will repeat the statistics which i know(latest)....until and unless, i reach pune, i cant get hold of anything managing things from here...

my seniors (2008-10batch) :-
highest pckg -9.5lkhs (TCS- i guess)
lowest pckg - 2.5 lkhs (dont remember the company )
avg pckg - 3.5 -4lkhs

total batch strength -65
placed - > 55 ( coz most of the seniors whom i kno, are all placed )

i hope this helps you all...

PS :- companies which came for placements - i didnt keep a note of that, coz PGDIT companies were also coming to the campus...kaunsi company aake kiss course ke students ko leti hain, we didnt note down dat...nd also we ve a tie-up vth symbiosis for placements, where both imdr and symbi students sit togethr for placements...

i understand you cannot give us the exact placement statistics because college only hasn't come up with it Yet...
but it would be of great help if you personally contact your seniors and give us sum details about placements... like which companies came for placements, what packages they offered, highest package, lowest package..etc...
this wil give us some idea about the placement scenario...
because the last placement statistics i know are of year 2006-2008..
i hope u help me out...

that has been the problem.we are not able to see placement records in statistical form which we xpect frm a good college.
