those who got final converts in second list..possiblle that they were in their waitlist..and also hoping many more in their list but they will give final calls through mails only...not goin to declare waitlist status...

Waitlist would only be out if offers are not accepted.

Just for info - given the current status, there are very slim chances that the waitlist will move.

I assume as last year, if the next list is sent calls you will be mailed the details.

DD can be sent through either means.... courier or speed post. Putting the full name is just a safer bet, but dont think it will cause a problem.

Hi IIM R seniors.
I am not a convert but an aspirant. Currently have 2 years of work ex in Infy and plan to join an IIM in 2013/2014. I wanted to have some details of new IIMs. Like I have been told that IIM Ro has great facilities and infrastructure considering they are housed in MDU. Could u throw some light on the facilities available at IIM R in terms of academics as well as sports and other essential things.

IIM R has a lot of good facilties inspite of not having a permanent campus yet. Excellent hostels with single rooms and internet connection. Well-designed classrooms too. You can view the admissions brochure for the current batch over here

For IIM Ranchi converts tomorrow is the last day to send you rconfirmation mail till 2 noon, before the waitlist candidates would be moved up in case the seats do not get filled up.

Hi Prachya, certificates would be needed at the time of registration when you report at IIMR......if you don't have your degree certificate you can get a provisional degree certificate made by your institute.....i hope you have all the other certificates safe with you !!

you will be getting hard copy of offer letter along with some forms and list of documents that you need to submit at the of registration. You need to show your original certificates and submit the photocopies...if for any reason your originals are not available at the time of registration you are given time to produce them within a given period. So no issues...all the best for you final exams...

I apologize for less activity here for past 2-3 days...from now you will find all updates here on this forum as well.

The GS and the JS have been in continuous touch with the college and are doing their best to get information as fast as possible so that the anxiety can be reduced. The link given previously was a dummy link as communicated by the college and the person who had tweaked the URL to get that link will probably be selected to join the IT committee in our college :)... Jokes apart, we understand your anxiety and we're doing our best to answer as many queries as possible. Am not sure which queries are being dodged by seniors but if you feel that way then please repeat them or PM me or any of the other seniors until you get a satisfactory answer.
We shall do our best in answering queries as and when possible since we are also busy in our internships.

Anyways 12th may has been given as the last date for people to confirm their offer.So any WL movement is expected after Saturday evening or Monday morning.Anyways you both have age on your side,If you dont make it this year,try hard next year.All the best

PS--Not a senior,just an aspirant.Think 100 times before joining new IIMs.I am a pharmacy graduate,if i had atleast a 10,000pm paying job I would have tried next year again.No offence to anyone,all this opaque procedure is getting onto my nerves.Hope you seniors understand and ask your respective schools to be transparent.

Thanx for these nice comments about us...I am that senior who told its a dummy link and this is not something I told by myself...i called up the admisisons office talked to concerned authority and then only told so. Probably the link was made for this purpose only but since it is not giving any waitlist no it was deemed dummy...if you are in wailist along wid 9600 other guys..i don't know wat gud dis info will do to u...I dont remember wen did i dodge any genuine query of any aspirant and gave excuse of internship. I can understand your frustration but please try to understand waitlist will come only after first list guys dont accept the offer and for now this is not the case...they have time till 17th and if all 90 seats are filled there will be no need for a waitlist at all. other iims might have released waitlist as they might not be sure of their seats being filled in first list itself.
Please be a little less rude if not polite in your comments on public forum. If you have any issues with transparency you can contact college by yourself ... all contacts are given on website.

straight 6/6 rejects amkes me feel like this

it is never about your brilliant CAT score, gud acads, extra curricular, This things will never make our dream come true. Things which will matter is whether 1)u are a girl
2)a candidate with reservation
3)or a non-engineer.
If you are any of the above even I and K are interested to take you.
Some of my friends, they have lost hope of doing MBA are having converts and having choice asking people which college shud I join and people like us even after a decent WAT/GD/PI after left empty handed. Welcome to the irony of this country
