Hope this helps atleast the next person in the wait list. have got the acknowledgment from IIM C and i have posted my withdrawal letter to IIM L. So one more seat vacant for you ppl now.

Hi, as of today, we got x no. of seats left, and are issuing y no. of calls for them. You can check your waiting list status LIVE updated every hour on the hour on our website. If your status is confirmed, proceed merrily to printout this form, fill it up and send a DD of Rs. z with it in case you are joining. Otherwise, print out the same form and send it with the Not Accepting option checked, so that the waiting list can keep moving! All the best!!!

got a call from iim lucknow..they asked me not to send through speed post.

Why do you want to go thru all the filing case and all the stuffs. Use blue dart. It is costly, but u will be sure of delivery the next day.

Dude, use speed post if u r very sure tht it will reach on time.
Read other people's experience with speed post in IIML's main thread @ pagalguy

Use Blue Dart for all communication with IIML. Safest and most reliable....
It doesnt matter if they have mentioned to send by speed post only

i think the speed post thing is just to make it fast....nothing else...

Courier service is anytime faster than speed post. I'd sent 2 letters to Kozhikode on 2 different times.. 1 via speed post and 1 via courier....
Speed post took 6 days courier took 3.....

I'll be most probably sending it through courier .....First flight....

nope !! just a Accpetance form and a letter from admissions deptt... nothing more.

"Please fill up the enclosed acceptance form with all the necessary details, and send us through Speed-post so as to reach us latest by June 09.2007" this is the what is wirtten in the letter...rest is ur call

Printout should work...no point in waiting if u r so sure!!

1. draft of 30K, in favour of "Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow" payable at Lucknow

2. Speedpost to be sent to The Chairman, Admissions...address mentioned on the acceptance form.

Acceptance & DD should reach them before 9th june...(they have mentioned to send via speed post)...

either u wud get it from someone who has already received the offer letter or it would be uploaded on net. If you get from somebody else get the xerox copy of acceptance form. this is a blank form which u have to fill and send it back to admissions with the fee.
