ok sunny.....wen i talked to d some of d seniors dey told me dat in sectorial programme strength is very low well i dont know d exact figures(seats r 180 for other sectorial programme but srength is not)....nd yes i m sure dat 118 is out of 180 as it was clearly written on dere notice board...
d highest is 8.4 by two of d student who got placed in dubai nd one more thing to notice dey were not hving ny exprience dey were freshers like many of us..


nd ha yar ye to h its all depend on us....acha karenge acha milega...

our batch will be d best one...

as i can see some really talented nd intelligent frnds on dis thread:)....

yes there is an oncampus nd offcampus hostel for girls...offcampus hostel provides better facilities than oncampus one.

yaa ankur i know it what i got response gives from students very mixed.Submitted today my Fees bashed them hard for providing little extension and presuming that loans get sanctioned in that few days.

Any way had a lunch at canteen it is fine 30 Rs for Thali and hostel guys will get coupons and the Hostel is in Neha Apartments approx 5 kms from the College and bus will drop u off.

p.s water sucks big time in noida totally crap not that i am surprised since water quality is awful in noida

65 kms looks like you do stay far.Right decision to opt for Hostel no way u reaching GN in time really not upto the mark transport

Also forgot to mention You can ask for the Transport service in GSM they do have it 1500 RS but don't know from where all it has starting point.i think mayur vihar ph 1,ITO etc.

well just spoke to the admission section today.. they said in 1-2 days we will get a mail containing the entire info about hostel fees, payment.. starting date.. everything we need to know...

okk first IGSM not residential ayush and for me i am not opting for hostel have lesser distance to travel and expressway is gud :D

total about 40km for me to and fro so not that bad.

@ankur haan milte hey boss since my exams after taken a toss with 1 exam postponed to 24th from 4th will meet you after 5th for sure.

So any others who want to have small chat before are welcome.


p.s and all those who are outstation and not yet visited the campus guys get your gears up Greater noida a little bit prob on transport issues

now when we are joinin the college,knowing about the hostel is as important..isnt it...
so i made a search for all the facilities provided by the shiv sakti pg that acts as a hostel for igsm guyzzz(not sure bout galzzz)

Mess Facilities

Every hostel has its own independent mess which is managed and run buy experienced and specially trained kitchen staff.

We serve North Indian, South Indian, Chinese and Continental food, which is nutritious, healthy, hygienic and tasty.

Food is prepared keeping in mind different tastes of students and for different occasions, where as menu is prepared in consultation with the food committee member students and menu is reviewed from time to time.

What ever ingredients and raw materials are used for preparing food is either branded or of best quality.

Refrigerator and Deep fridge is used to store fresh vegetables and fruits and other perishable items. For storing others materials there is a modern storage facilities system instead of spreading eatables here and there on the floor.
Every mess is equipped with Fly / Mosquito trap system and wire mesh is fitted in the kitchen.

Only fresh food is served in mess all the left-over food is disposed off / removed immediately from the kitchen.

Every mess is equipped with its independent water purification and cooling system to provide healthy potable water and to prevent water borne diseases.



Daily Needs
For the daily requirements of students we have Departmental stores in every hostel, where most of the things are available at lower then the MRP.

All our hostels have independent Cyber cafs. All Cyber cafes are equipped with High speed internet lines, Printers, Scanners, CD-Burners and Photo copier Machines etc.

A P.C.O is also maintained by us with in the premises to facilitate the students.



Rooms
Our rooms are constructed in such a way that it provides more than enough space to each student with attached bathrooms and balconies.


Security
Security of our students is our prime concern. All our Hostels are guarded by Security Guards round the clock.

An Ex Defence officer Security Supervisor is always available to supervise all the security arrangements.

Security Supervisor takes care of all security related problems. He also maintains interaction with senior students and ensures that no ragging take place.

A Register is maintained to record in and out timings of students to ensure that no student remains out after 7:00pm during winter and 7:30pm during summer and Security Supervisor submits reports on daily basis to the hostel management.

A separate register is maintained for visitors. Security supervisor keeps a strict control on the activities of all students as well as visitors



Power Backup / Water Supply

100% Power backup is provided from dawn to sunrise.

Water supply is available round the clock from our own source.


Sports / Gym

We provide indoor and outdoor games (TT, Badminton, Volleyball, Carom, and Chess etc). A GYM is also provided by us for students to keep them fit and fine


Medicare

First aid medical facilities are provided by us. (A MBBS Doctor visits daily in the evening) in addition to this Mediclaim Upto Rs.1,00,000/ (Upto Rupees one lac only) is also provided to every student and premium for the same is paid by us.
