views. I want 2 have complete idea abt hostel accomodation i.e., fee, food etc.

The total intake is 180 seats in PGDM.This year till now the highest package is bagged by 2 students from Marketing & that is 8.5 lakhs INR by U-FLEX & they will be posted in DUBAI the average package is hovering between 3.75-4 lakhs.Hope this helps:cheerio:

when i searched in google i got these three results for IILM college in delhi.. Now i am not sure which one is the link for the IILM which i found in top 100 mba college list. Can anybody help me with this sorting out,Because some of my friend told me that only one of these IILM's is good.

Well talking about IILM-GSM one doesnt need to worry about the quality of education provided. The learning experience is always appreciated by the students. The faculty is of good quality and the program as well has been designed to meet the industry standards. It is conducted under the same roof of IILM-GSM where learning is considered to be an unforgettable experience. Son it can be said that this sectoral program of IILM has got good prospect. By my reckoning its worth taking the admission.

Let us not compare the two institutes. They cater to an altogether different student group. EMPI is a very high fee-low package institute. I hope we all are aware of it. The ROI would be pretty great! Hence, has a minor advantage over most institutes.
However, IILM can provide you with great opportunities, a bigger package and one can actually emerge out with a big package under his/ her belt. The ROI constraint gradually diminishes with time. What after that? You need to acquire a modest platform for yourself to sail further and better. IILM has a crisp edge here! Moreover, IILM GSM takes students for its flagship program through CAT. Talking of IILM GSM as a part of IILM, comparisons actually seem baseless. The fees for IILM GSM is 6.90 L. Well IILMGSM no longer takes students through MAT. It has changed its criteria and from last year onwards, it has started taking students through CAT. So there is bound to be more competition. Similarly, EMPI takes student through MAT so there is no point of comparing the two institutes. Moreover, you should look for the colleges which are good in all respect and not mere seeing the placements. The level of education which is imparted in IILM GSM is of good standard. Under current scenario of recession IILM GSM has been able to provide an avg package of about 3.5L with highest being around 7L. I think that forms are available these days.
And as far as MAT is concerned then IILM CMS, NIMT, etc. can be considered as good colleges since these institutions do give you good return on your investment. Even there are some programmes like PGDM(Retail), PGDM(IB) & PGDM(Financial Services) which are being offered by IILM GSM and they consider MAT Score for the same.

For IILM-GSM's sectoral programs,
1) Yes you have to apply separately for all programmes.
2) You can fill by scores of more than 1 exam.
3) As the competition is growing, it will be good to for you to submit the forms.

No........... the concept of more or less weightage is not so easy to be identified. It can be said that your score is a gateway for you towards the forthcoming rounds. Your past acads and your performance in gd/pi is of greater importance after that.

Basically in the gd round you will be tested on your communication skill, presence of mind and your ability to apply logic. Topic is not expected to be too much specific or something that deep expertise. The pi round is very much of similar kind. But be prepared on the current affairs..........dont ignore politics.

Well IILM-GSM is only one of the best colleges in the NCR region because of the quality faculty, educational environment and its decent placement. you will have experience of learning in true sense.there is no chance of someone feeling like just another candidate crammed inside to pursue and get out after a couple of return after a couple of years. such is the quality of faculty that IILM-GSM possesses.

Even in the last year of dried out job market, it has been able to provide decent placements to its students.

Here and in most B-schools, it is the PGDM General.
Well, the venue for IILM-GSM's GD/PI is the campus in Greater Noida.

You can still apply for IILM-GSM's flagship course, but you need to apply at the earliest. The GD/PI will be before April 21st. Moreover, you will be given only 10 days if you get selected.
If you have a penchant for IILM-GSM and are determined to make through, you still stand a fair chance!

Actually I have both the colg in my kitty.So I'm in bit dilemma , whether to take admission in IGSM or EMPI for pGDM 2009-11.
Guys if we neglect the recession period for a moment, which college u would suggest me on different criteria like faulty , the study env. , the standard of educaion , effort by management for internships and placement assisstance etc etc.

Help me guys as soon as possible

Well I am a passout of EMPI. I don't know whether you have already taken admission in IGSM. If you have well then that's completely your choice. But if you have'nt then let me help you take an informed decision by giving you more information about EMPI. Well EMPI is one institution which really makes you work hard. It is a very serious and discipline focussed institution. Infact I must tell you that initially I was placed in Naukri.com and my boss had specifically told me that you must help us get more students from EMPI as he found that EMPI students were much better than students from other institutions. This feedback I have been hearing off and on from my other batch mates as well. EMPI has excellent faculty and a very good environment for study. Placements are also quite good and in my batch there was 100% placement in all programmes.

But now that I am a working professional I can tell you that the most important thing that EMPI does is that it tries to groom you to win the corporate race rather than just bring jobs for you on a platter, which I feel is SO SO IMPORTANT in oder to succeed. So if you are willing to work hard and be a winner in placements and beyond in your professional life....EMPI is THE PLACE for you to be in.
