I got a call for DSF too... i'm at PGDM waitlist 63 and i haven't applied for DSF... they were saying that it's difficult for me to get through to the pgdm batch considering i'm at 63 and asked if i wanted to take DSF. I did not take up the offer.

Hey thanks for updating on this thread.

I went to IFMR last thursday and I was told that they have called students up to w/l no 51 and they have only 2 vacancies as of that day in the regular pgdm stream.

I also received a mail from them this morning for the DSF stream and my w/l no. is 67. So if they have called candidates say between 67 and 81 we can assume that there are as many vacancies probably still left as the no. of candidates between 67 and 81 at the least.

Request other w/l candidates to kindly update their current status ie. have they received a call (along with their w/l no.) on this thread as this would help others get a clearer idea on chances of conversion.

was informed that ppl uptil w/l 51 have been called and me being 67 on the w/l would not have much of a chance as only 1 more seat is vacant as of now

pls can all those who have recd a call bet w/l 42-51 give an update to ppl higher up on the w/l on whether they did receive a call and have they accepted the offer.

I have not seen any activity or update on this thread regarding the movement in the w/l for a long time.

yes one of mu frnd who is WL 42 jes recd a call today in the evening and they told him to reply thm by tomm morning.and he is not joining it so WL no 43 congrats u might receive a call.

Well friend i can't tell the exact procedure for the refund. But is it is written in the call letter we will be refunded all amount except for the initial admission fee we have deposited and Rs. 1000 as processing fee.
By the way where else did you get admission?

i kno i sound here consoling u but i thot its needed.
whatever b the status unless the offc send u a mail no one can help u.
n whn offc wil send u a mail or a letter by post they wil giv u sufficient time to deposit the money. and since they hv done the same with others it is taking time.
i blv the waitlist procedure shd b tackled in another way as it is done at engg
colleges etc.
al r called according to their ranks n each person is given a chance in order of merit to submit the req fee then n thr if they wish to secure their adm.

it gets done in a day n everyone is happy then . no waiting no worries .

I got the receipt for payment of the first installment. My DD was received on 20th at the college and today on 22nd i have the receipt in my hand. This college continues to amaze me... Such punctuality... Hope this good image of the insti continues in the next two years there...
