I want to thank Flint for answering all the queries of aspirants i want to know about the distribution of seats in HCU is there any defence quota(asked in the form) cause i am from defence category if yes then what is the cutoff for that and also i want to know about the learning enviroment of HCU is the schedule hectic is the faculty cooperative and sincere and also about the exposure of the college and guest faculties plz throw some light on these aspects.
I am not sure about the defence quota.Plz check in the prospectus regarding the same.There may be a seat or two.
The schedule is Hectic but not very hectic....You get lots of time. Classes are generally over by 4 PM.
The faculty is excellent.It is a Central University , everybody who is a regular faculty here is a Ph.d.
Two of them have done the FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROG. from IIM-A.
Guest faculties are generally top of the industry people.-REF. prospectus.
Hyderabad is the second biggest hub for IT, its growing in a full-fledged metro. There are lots of opportunities here.
Talking bout exposure, we have been to ISB twice already in this semester and also had a couple of company visits.
We have lots of international visitors on the campus.
Dr. Simran k. kahai from the John carroll unviersity ,cleaveland ,ohio was here on the 3rd of Aug.
we also hosted the Dean of RUTGERS , new jersey.
Recently the National seminar on INNOVATION IN DOWNTURN was was inaugurated by the councellar general of US EMBESSY here.
We also have a collaboration with the UNIVERSITY OF SAN DIEGO global MBA programe in which the students from that university would visit SMS for a period of 3 months and undertake courses here.
And to top it all, the university has been ranked no.1 university in India -
