Yes, u have to mention all ur subjects in the space provided. Dont worry, its only a formality.u can write it in short forms. should not be a problem.

NSS is the NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME.Its a voluntary organization. Think bout it after u take ur admission...

Dude, r u kidding me???

Comparision not allowed on PG, but jus take a look at the cut off. it will tell u the story.
IPE calles people even at 50 %tile. For SMS - University Of Hyderabad, the cut off is 80. Hope u will get the difference !

And, if u r a TIME student, check their rankings. I believe they are quite authentic.The difference there is evident.

For the item no. 3. jus refer to the post exactly above urs.

As for the slips, cut a paper into two rectangles large enough to write ur address, write ur addresss and its done !

Try to get the photograph attested after pasting it on the form.
should not be an issue if ur in college. :)

I am not sure about the defence quota.Plz check in the prospectus regarding the same.There may be a seat or two.
The schedule is Hectic but not very hectic....You get lots of time. Classes are generally over by 4 PM.
The faculty is excellent.It is a Central University , everybody who is a regular faculty here is a Ph.d.
Two of them have done the FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROG. from IIM-A.

Guest faculties are generally top of the industry people.-REF. prospectus.

Hyderabad is the second biggest hub for IT, its growing in a full-fledged metro. There are lots of opportunities here.

Talking bout exposure, we have been to ISB twice already in this semester and also had a couple of company visits.
We have lots of international visitors on the campus.
Dr. Simran k. kahai from the John carroll unviersity ,cleaveland ,ohio was here on the 3rd of Aug.

we also hosted the Dean of RUTGERS , new jersey.

Recently the National seminar on INNOVATION IN DOWNTURN was was inaugurated by the councellar general of US EMBESSY here.

Percentile range is approx 80.to have a realistic change .
The ROI that u get is jus awsome as the fees is jus rs 1 lack for the entire course.

WB is the correct code for west bengal.
If u have passed the qualifying degree exam , the code is - EP.
If the results are not yet out, the code is - RA.

heyy flint...can u give info abt how got selcted till now.....as u said 14 are short listed by andhra bank....so by now how many got selcted nd the avg pack....

8 candidates were selected in customer relations department.
The CTC was 4 Lack P.a for all.
Last yr. 2 students remained unplaced,thanks to recession.
The top 40% of the class generally gets placed in and around 4L.
The highest package till now was 7 L p.a in 2007.

yes, If u apply with the downloaded form, it would cost u only rs.200/- .
The reason is that the university would not be sending u the printed prospectus.

The DD can be of any nationalized bank.

I repeat, this is a CENTRAL UNIVERSITY, run by the govt. of India.

Total course fees - Rs.1,02,000 .
Hostel charges - Rs.24,000/-
It enjoys a very good ROI.

No sectional cut-offs as of now.
The cut-off for general category is 80%tile in CAT, but realistic chances are at 85%tile

nyways,you will get what you should get out of an MBA here.but then, a lot depends on what u want and how hard you r striving for it....well, this is true anywhere.

The curriculam here is very good, the impetus is also good.It is one of the BEST UNIVERSITIES IN INDA.
now, it totally depends on the individual to perform and make optimum use of the resources !

The iniative taken by you to give information regarding your college is commendable. I am writing cat 09 on dec 5th,not sure what percentile i will get.
Am a Time felllow and have been getting varying percentiles in Aimcats from 60's to 82's still have 40 days to work but am a bit low on confidence right now,so have to pull my socks!! I want to apply for HCU the only reason being am a hyderabadi and it seems to be a good university!!
I am not concerned with placements what i want is to learn the qualities you get from an mba. so all i wanted to ask will i get to learn in HCU??

Last date for receipt of filled in application is 30/11/2009.

hey dude, the hostel fees is negligible, and on top of that.once admitted, u get 1000 bugs as scholarship every month. so u dont need to worry bout the stuff.
To talk bout placements now would be like shooting in the dark.
The process has jus begun........it will take some time.
And,boy, the application fees was jus 150 last time.....not big money naah??
why worry?give it a go....
