Hello guys I would like to know the likely dates when you conduct your fest...the details regarding competitions and registration fee and the participants.

finally the letter has arrived. classes begin on the 13th of july, monday. there is nothing else in the letter except the date.

yes.. its filled.. according to a student who attended the counseling last week.

Yes...I think all the seats has been filled...Counselling process means they took some original certificates and the two D.D s...and finally gave us a receipt for tution fee....so dats it...was it any different for u?

it was exactly the same for us. except we spent hours for that tuition fee paper at the admin block.

you better call them up boss....coz they divided aspirants into two grps n sent into two seperate rooms..tamil nadu state and non-tamil nadu state ...so nobdy knows for sure whether all d seats r filled up or not...

wa a bit busy...... recession session 2009 @ nitt is about to get over....... placements were gud... ~100 pc again.. some major recruiters were tcs, hp, cts, imrb, tata, sonata, idbi, cub................

anyways not only systems other streams r here and got placed well. amjor chunk of students was 4 marketing ...... marketing placements in it cos. also........

yes.. i think that's why they want to keep our stuff. but it's a govt. college. they will have to return it. just call them up and confirm.

Even i got the letter for councelling for NITT, but i am confused whether to take it or not..? Actually i spoke with some seniors friends of different institution and they say only system is good as far as NITT is concerned...but i dont want to be in IT industry again(its too unstable and inside IT means spending 24X7 in office) ... for other specialisation,it seems the placement scale is very low.

The college fee is less , that is the one positive thing... but how will the infrastructure be hostel ,,, hostel food...net facilities ... :(
s for technology ... placement is concentrated for BE students and some MBA are paid less than the BE there...

And the worse part is ... no senior is here to get our queries cleared ... Atleast to say whether what we got is right...:(

I have to choose one among these two...Hope i will take up BIMTECH...

and because of too many quota,,, real variety for the class will be missing ...:(
Location problem ... so exposture will not be that great,,

Some other things to be noted are,
No foreign exchange programs and other tie ups with other universities ... so again exposure will be low... That is something other B-school students gain on...
Its not a B school ... and its famous for technology ... placement is concentrated for BE students and some MBA are paid less than the BE there...

Could anyone explain me the format of "physical fitness certificate" to be produced during admission???

yeah for a physical fitness certificate just u need to get it from any book stalls or xerox centres near to any govt. offices or govt. hospitals.. just any form u get which has heading as "physical fitness certificate" is enough yaar.. just get it filled, signatured and stamped by the said authority in a govt. hospital..
