(my rank still changes) I do think though that the base of students taking these mocks is of a higher average than the overall cat.
@virajs Well, I've been taking these Procs using the pdf files as well these days and have been wondering about the same. I think that while its good to be around the mark that you're at, you've got to keep in mind that the janta scored this much way back. So, prep wise, most of them would...
@virajs Well, I've been taking these Procs using the pdf files as well these days and have been wondering about the same. I think that while its good to be around the mark that you're at, you've got to keep in mind that the janta scored this much way back. So, prep wise, most of them would be placed better at this point in time. The cut-offs/99 percentile mark would go up correspondingly.

QA45.0 95.2 VALR 56.0 99.4 101.0 99.13 Are these percentiles for real? After figuring the Married couples lr, i felt I had really cracked this paper. Also few ambiguous questions in RCs, left VALR accuracy very low. What do these cutoffs mean and does the percentile corresspond to CAT or would it be higher/lower than actual cat, with similar performance? -Viraj
@aparajitasingh here is the logic to find the sum of any series of type (Ax^a1*y^b1+B*x^a2*y^b2+C*x^a3*y^b^3..............................................) if u'll put all the variable equal to 1 then series will get converted into (A+B+C+D...................................) which...

AB * BC = BD * AC So, 0.5 * AB * BC = 0.5 * BD * AC which implies Ar(triangle ABC) = 0.5 * BD * AC Hence BD should be an altitude from B to side AC. Hope this clears your doubt. Best of luck !

@Sukanyaseth This was my 2nd Proc mock, so I would like to believe that the 70 smthing score was because of shaky fundamentals. As mentioned "beautifully" in my post that you have quoted, I could not even do LR questions back then. I had to get a lot of practice before I eventually managed to get a 100 in PM7. And I started with scores even lesser than 70s (see signature), so you can have faith that a lot can be managed in a month. Don't give up hope, CAT is nothing more than a test of basics. Shameful is fine if it works to burn your desire to achieve, it has happened to me time and again. Don't let it demotivate you. ATB!
PS: You want to see good scores in this particular mock, refer to the time tested stalwarts like bluechameleon, snayak, ravitejapalla, estallar12 etc.. Never fail to inspire, these fellows.
I gave this mock today since I had missed it during the window.. and scored 73 and I cant believe awesome people like you who are scoring 110+ in AIMCATS now could have scored low in this particular CL proc mock.. so is it because you people have improved so much in these two months or was this ...
Wow, looking at the above quant scores, I guess I am the odd one out with the bulk of my marks coming from sec 2!
QADI: 12A 10C 2W= 28 (gonna miss the cutoff by a mile)
VALR: 21A 16C 5W= 43
OA: 33A 26C 7W = 71
I guess since I got saved in sec 2 (relative to sec 1) 'cos I depend more on RC than LR.. I had 20 mins left for all the LR sets. Tried 2 for 10 mins each, could not make out head or tail of either.

Any which way.. my present aimcat scores are shameful ! :'(.. and you people are an inspiration no matter how little time is left to CAT now !

Is there any provision in CL to take/download the missed (missed in both proctored and unproctored window) Proc Mocks later? like 'missed AIMCATS' in TIME.
yes...you will be provided with the tests some time later...

Gave the mock today in PDF - Herz the analysis Sec 1 - Total score (44)Sec 2 - Total score (23) Total - 67 Felt the paper was relatively easier specially Sec 1. Few LR sets were moderate but time-taking cheers @[367896:sumeet1489] bhai aapne to phod dia ye mock :mg: p.s - F...
Hey tyger! First.. divide 8*6*4 by 192.. so that we get the volume of each smaller cube.. its 1 cmcube. So the dimensions of each smaller cube should be 1 cm * 1 cm *1 cmNow, find all the "smaller" cubes on the edges.. (they'll be painted on 2 or 3 faces)total smaller cubes on edges= 8*4 + (6-2)...

Hey tyger!
First.. divide 8*6*4 by 192.. so that we get the volume of each smaller cube.. its 1 cmcube. So the dimensions of each smaller cube should be 1 cm * 1 cm *1 cm
Now, find all the "smaller" cubes on the edges.. (they'll be painted on 2 or 3 faces)
total smaller cubes on edges= 8*4 + (6-2)*4 + (4-2)*4 = 32 + 16 + 8 = 56
bas! ab corners pe jitne cubes hain.. they'll have 3 faces painted.. to usko substract karna hai.. from 56.. corner cubes= 8.. therefore answer = 56-8 =48
BTW.. 6-2 and 4-2 isliye kiya because 1 edge ke 8 cubes count kiye.. to uske adjoining edge mei again 6 nai count kar sakte.. repetition ho jaega.. so need to substract 2.. u can even take the edge with 6 cubes as reference..instead of 8.. in that case.. cubes on edges= 6*4 + (8-2)*4 + (4-2)*4= 24 + 24 + 8 = 56

The sectional cut-offs for QADI, VRLR and ARDM were 12, 13 and 13 respectively and the overall cut-off for the paper was 44. In none of the sections did any test-taker score more than 75% of the marks allotted to the question(s) attempted by her in the section. What was the minimum number of questions required to be attempted in the paper to clear the three sectional cut-offs as well as the overall cut-off?
Answer:
Correct Option is: "a"
Solution:
Don't you think answer should be 14 here because if we give 4/1 for QADI , it will violate the condition of 75% , can somebody throw some light ...

Question No.13-14 : How did they get 16 in the 2009 column????? In the qn its written 25% of the remaining left the company exactly two years after joining... Now 16 is 25% of 64... I cant see 64 anywhere in dese tables...! Also didnt get qn. 17...!
