Seems like there are a lot of changes in the answer key. Anyone knows exactly what has been modified?
Q.43 has been changed to option 4, right?
How about Q. 48? The answer given in the in the explanation corresponds to option 2, but they have mentioned option 3 in the key.

this mok was no doubt horrible...but well its more important to learn frm r mistakes...
i feel the di set 5 is a bit illogical ... its given that wats the min and max possible age but its nowhere mentioned dat it is essential to have each of these as one of the ages... also, there is no mention of what is the meaning of min avg. and max avg. ... it has various ambiguous meanings.
:whatthat:the solutions very comfortably assume the min avg. age to be the either the one given or the one calculated by using min age (n-1) times and the max age once...same is done for the max. age...
don't you people feel that its somewhat flawed???

i dont know when i will stop srewing my mocks...i did it till end.........i dont know what i will do on c-day

after calculating the scores thought had screwed this test up like the TIME counterpart

attempted 10 questions in each section...as it was the last mock wanted to see how i do without a bit of guessing

The answer to Q.43 should be option (5) in my opinion.

There is also a parajumble - Q.53 where 2 options are the same. That also needs to be rectified. Both options (1) and (3) should be considered for evaluation.

don't u think, when CL is copying the entire CAT pattern of last year, it must also have copied the pattern of having discrete questions(data sufficiency) in DI section...???

it wud have been a better to score some discrete questions if u r not able to crack a set...!!!

a can be -780 b -780 then c will be 1566 so find summation a b c square here

and if a is like - 1000000000 b -10000000000 and find c then

so in short ,summation a b c square can be infinity

but when u use the second statement then a,b are set to small finite values

and thus will be c ........... hence ans will be 4

diff between max n min value of a^2 + b^2 + c^2 ?
now a,b,c are distinct integers and a+b+c=6

so whtever b the value of a,b,c it is one of the 1,2,3 and diff will be constant irrespect of which is which

this alone is sufficient

I have done isr, 3rd & 5th SET of DI.
I have doubts on->
q29. Soln of CL is correct but they have marked wrong option.
Q37. the correct answer shd be 5th option, I have solved this at home & I am getting 4,3,2 as values, so the choice 5th is correct acc. to me.

SET 5 is a really a tricky one.


for q40 correct option is 4, its not none of these.

But if you see q41... sum of the entries in R1c4 and R4C1 will be? similarly q43 number of incorrect entries by C can be ??? (isn't there a similarity!!)

QA, VA, Overall cut off seems to be fine, DI cut off could be a tad higher at 22-24 (or so to say- 6 questions correct).

From whatever I have seen so far ... it seems the paper was a tough nut except for English which had very doable VA and one 6 q RC for boosting scores....

QA was not that easy and DI was very lengthy ....
I think doable sets in DI were 2nd, 4th & 5th ... not sure about 3rd and 1st!
2nd also was very lengthy due to calculations and 5th was tricky...

QA had 3-4 sitters and everything else needed decent amount of time...

Cutoffs according to me should be:

QA - 22-25
DI - 18-22
VA - 32-36
OA - 92-96

I just logged in to Sis . It shows one's overall percentile in all Mocks conducted so far in CL test series. Can anyone suggest how accurate it is? I think most of people posting in this thread will be above 99%

mine is shown 99.2. I guess all they are doing is aggregating scores from all the given mocks. Calculating %marks. adding this average %marks for the missing test scores (tests not given). adding all the marks. and then calculating overall percentile.

mine's 124

English - 58 (well would've crossed 60 if a parajumble wasn't wrong with the choices)
DI - 30 (lovely time for the electricity supply to go kaput at the centre. murphy himself descended down from the heavens to accompany me in my mock)
math - 36 (well...)

any ideas about cutoffs????:|
