I would prefer TIME as Well, But they just give 10%, rest of 90% depends on you and go for CAT, XAT, MHCET, IIFT, IIFT, FMS, NMAT, IRMA, SNAP.

u cn download some software lyk PDFCreator, which can produce pdfs from ny document. (It installs as a printer, nd on printing, the o/p is pdf).

its not proper place to ask this ques, nyway u cant copy paste, but try print screen button from your keyboard, entire screen would be copied on ur clipboard and then paste it in some editor like paint and save it as an image... but this one is time consuming method

Focus on Mocks...analyse ur mock everytime...for ur time constraint..look...with CAT'11 being so close...prioritize ur things...bunk lectures..compromise in ur college activities if MBA is ur goal...n if u believe u can achieve it...if u dont satisfy these 2 criteria then dont go for CAT this yr....

Irrespective of what subject you took up or didn't, simply put down your 10th/12th percentage as the one mentioned in your official marks sheet.

Well..the percentage is as mentioned in your 10th and 12th score sheet...you dont have any choice to select best 5...coz if u do so...ur score sheet would show a different percentage and you wud later be questioned on that...

When we calculate our class 10 and 12 percentages, do we take the best 5 out of the 6 or calculate the percentage with all the 6 subjects. Is there any particular criteria on selecting the 5 subjects?

Yes you are eligible, the basic rules of qualification for CAT 2011 are as follows
The candidate must hold a Bachelors Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA , awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educationa...

The Sujit Kumar book is good(not great).It explains basics of grammar with some exercises.It deals with SC,,Word usage,confused words etc etc.Though it has very few errors(very few but there are).But overall,a good book to buy.

I think the second book you are talking of is that by TIME(Pearson Publishers).You can buy this book if you are not TIME student.Else I don;t think it will help much as questions are from TIME material(as said by my friend)

dont aim to just IIMs, there are also other good colleges, not good as IIMs, but not that much bad also.. like MDI, NITIE, XLRI, FMS, IIFT, SIBM, IITs, SPJIMR, SIMSREE, IMI, GLIM etc.. your AIMCAT score is very well.. so work hard for CAT.. best of luckkkk

where hav u got it wrong? If the name in the payslip that u filled while purchasing the voucher, then u might have no optn other than buying a new voucher. But if the name in the payslip is correct, but the name on the backside of ur voucher is wrong, i dont thnk it makes ny difference.

Well...its gr8 that u study so much...:D...ur weaker section is english...so i believe you should post what exact help you want...see VA is a vast section...for starters, you may do basic grammar and improve vocabulary through reading....
P.S. : ISB takes GMAT scores and not CAT scores...:D

I have just joined the simcat series of IMS. What is ur opinon on its standard of difficulty as compared to T.I.M.E's Aimcats and other mock tests?

i took the simcats myself last yr, nd its my personal opinion that the simcat scores are much more realistic than time. the main reason behind this is that aimcats are quant heavy while their va is sumtimes even easier than the real cat, as such ppl who are stron in QA get high ranks/ %iles in aimcats. but considering the relatively easier level of quant in the cat, the "QA gods" lose this advantage to some extent. As such, one often sees ppl who scored 90+ in aimcats consistently nd ended up with a 80-sumthng in cat, while i have known a frnd who last yr was always between 60-80 in aimcats, nd got 98+ in cat. Simcats are much more accurate in this regards. being a more balanced ppr than the aimcats, the score comes out more accurately, my avg in simcats last yr was 90-95, nd i ended up wid 94.84 in cat. So,, since u have taken up simcats, work hard for them, and as for ur preparation levels, ur simcat scores wud be fairly accurate. But make sure, u attempt each nd every mock very strictly and seriously as in the real test. remember, most of the guys are already peaking, since u have just started, giv urself sum tym and work reallllyyy reaalllyyy hard.

PS: u wud find ppl sayin "getting 99 in cat is a matter of 2 mnths", but dat in my opinion is just a fluke, u will face 200000 ppl, many of them veterans, the competition is gonna be real tuf. so mak sure u put in ur best.

PPS: this long advice bcoz last yr, i myslef tuk cat lightly, till the moment i came out of the exam hall, nd my first sentiment was that i cud have done much much better....i repent that lost chance, nd thats the reason i m still here..
