Hi U can look at TIME, IMS and CL. All 3 are equally good. Time has a better test series. And IMS and CL are equally good with their test series too.

TIME centers are located in Anna Nagar, Adyar, Egmore, etc.
IMS centers are in Egmore, Anna Nagar, Adyar and Tambaram
CL has centers in T Nagar and Egmore.

U can choose these.

Hi i m not from chennai but i m a working girl . just joined time for cat prepn 2008 in delhi....
my percentile is really low ard 43.0 and i was not able to attempt even single ques correctly from di....just help me with that .... i mean what way i can improve .. in quant i m sure slowly in a mont or two i will improve... n i just want to join this group for my doubts n all

In the little experience i've had with CAT and AIMCAT's I believe the level of DI in the AIMCAT's is generally quite good ... don't judge yourself on the basis of one or two tests ... just try to analyze the mocks and find out what mistakes u've made and easy caselets you might have missed out ...

i already appeared in CAT twice bfore..
i was good in DI/DS but i m not able to perform well in TIME tests..
is TIME too tough or my level in DI/DS has gone down..

Lets not discuss CTS here, u guys can discuss that pretty well on your CTS mails :wink:. Ok so CAT is nearing, only 4 months to go. As i have said in my earlier posts on this thread that we have PG meets here in Chennai, and everyone who is interested can come in.

Now some of us are planning to meet up once in a week to discuss quants, verbal and DI. Will also be discussing about the mocks.

Any one who is interested in joining us can PM me.

Weekly discussion on mocks and others ll be very useful if its done in small groups (say max 3 in a group).

Last yr I did this with Hameed (Macora of UDT use to join us sometime) at anna nagar CCD and we learned a lot from each other..sometimes when we dont have time to meet we use the analze mocks over the phone..
(Now Hameed is in XLRI, Macora in IIMC and me..you know what..:lookroun::crazyeye:)

So if you have any idea of forming groups for mock discussion, please try to make it in small groups..probably ppl in the same locality or nearby locality can form groups n do this...

N we have to be very particular on some of the things before we come for the meet..we ve to complete our own analysis before we meet (If its for a mock discussion), have strict time limit (say 2-3 hrs) and should not deviate from the task at hand...n at the end of the meet we should feel that it was a real value add for the entire group...

I don know whether large grp discussion ll be effective..so if somebody feels otherwise plz don groan at my post

A quick noob question, whats the difference between basic and advanced?

Basic means u can only write 20 aimcat (already 3 completed). In advanced they'll cover other management tests also. Around 8 mock exams u can write, and another 12 q papers u'll get from them.
