Date of exam: 16.11.2008
Exam duration - 2.5 hours
Sale of applications starts on: 14.07.2008
Sale of application ends on : 08.08.2008 (AXIS Bank),
13.08.2008 (IIMs)
Last date for receipt of filled applications: 05.09.2008
Application cost: 1300/- General & Obc, 650 /- SC/STApplication can be obtained from :-AXIS Bank, IIM & can be downloaded from www.catiim.in
CAT SCORE CARD would be released on: 09.01.2009
Results on: 10.04.2009

Yes... CAT 2008 will have three sections if every word written in the bulletin is sacrosanct... Kindly read the Admission/Selection Process paragraph on page 33 of the bulletin... It says that '..... in each of the three sections of CAT 2008'.... To further strengthen the belief, page 51 mentions...

I only found that CAT08 will have 'several' sections and no particular number has been mentioned in the bulliten as far as I know.Kindly clarify.

That is probably bcoz of addition of one more institute, IIM-Shillong ..but then still worth every penny .. when compared to 1500 by MDI and the likes ..

i had the problem with both FF3 and IE7. clearing the cache helped.

@diablo - Thats happening coz you have not cleared cookies/cache in ur FF3. Try that, it will be fine :)

The discount on CAT bulletin is applicable to SC/ST candidates only and not to OBC category candidates.

For the first time, the IIMs have asked for the Work experience SECTOR in addition to the number of months. Hail the IIMs!!!!! We shall now get to see that 36 (IT) is not equal to 36(Banking).........

This time the cost of CAT is higher, did anyone notice that? It's 1300/650 -compared to 1100/550 compared to last year
