CAT 2006 duration changed to 3 hours CAT & Related BSchools

Hi everyone...
There is an article in TOI stating that CAT 2006 duration has been increased to 3 hours from 2 1/2 hours.
Admission director IIMB said that they felt students would need more time to tacle this year's format.
Do read the article...
And any experts have a take on this?

CAT is not of 3 hrs!! It's 2.5 hrs.
Let this thread die down automatically without any replies. Lets me see how much patience PG members have, afterall CAT also tests ur patience.

I guess any one preparing for CAT would be aware that this was a mistake....rather a misprint in TOI.

I misunderstood the article...
But "test duration now 3 hours" sounded misleading to me...
Im sorry but i really didnt mean to bother u ppl knowingly with wrong information...
I should have been more cautious...But even CNN IBN in the morning news made mention of it...so i wanted to confirm

Today i also read the same article.Total time of test is 2 and half only.The half an hour before that we have to enter the test room for some formalities.

yes theres an article dated 9th nov(i.e. today) in the TOI which do states that the cat paper is of three hrs duration....(it says indirectly)
but that is jus an error...anyone will knw it...
and further its clearly mentioned that cat has increased the time by half an...
