yesterday i saw an Ad that this Sunday AIMCAT is a Talent search exam for CAT 2006 aspirants..ne1 can write it..and guyz gettiing impressive percentile's will be given scholarship for the TIME CAT-2006 Long term batch......

i took crash course from TIME this summer and i m writing AIMCAT's now..getting around 95%le....

Thats good dude...U shd be also preparing for the GD and PI part as well...bcoz u can have lot of information abt this things as u have started early...GD and Casestudy still is not a big problem but keep urself updated for those blows that u ll b hving in PI....

thats great buddy...I am thinking ,why I had not started this early....

Hi, yaa 12 k is too much that too i m still in 2nd yr and not eligible for this yr's CAT.soo def too much.But i wanna enjoy this AImCAT season.so took coaching.

Wrote 1st AIMCAT.heights of time mismanagement.yet results r ok..
got 92.04%le and AIR 815 missed cut off in VA-5 marks and 13%le.

and CAtikon sry 4 talking AIMCAT stuff here..

I would suggest you not to join IMS under any circumstances.Kindly take a note of where you will be joining and kind of prof. there as they probably wont change for entire year.

Well my preps r ok.Doing well in quant but verbal ---a total disaster till now:huh:
About TIME....
duration is for only 30 days although they say it will be for 45 days.Study material is a basic one and not that good.course Fee is about 12,000rs(includes AIMCAT's).
Although the above description doesn't sound satisfying,the class room course is very ood.
Interaction with the teaches is very pos and healthy.Few very good prof's took some classess,from which i benefitted a lot.we had 6-7 mock GD's in class and also 2 mock interviews.All in all their input in the classroom is very helpful.

Well thats it if u have ne specific doubt's u r always welcome...
BTW do i know u before??????

PS : As i find this is the only thread for ppl preparing for cat2k5 frm ahmedabad (not for pg meets), i think a thread title like "Calling all aspirants from Ahmedabad for CAT-2005 " wud be more appropriate since it can be easily retrieved while using search options. ahmedabadites makes it bit cumbersome

well if ya think what is a mumbaitie doing in a ahmedabites group.

that i think its fun to make friends especially when u serve a common goal.

just wanted to know how preparartions are going on in this part of the world.

we in mumbai arrange get to gethers (g2g's) were we cat takers study in groups and discuss each other concerns and doubts. its pretty useful and worthy.

Im planning to join TIME AimCAT series. The first test for non-classroom time ppl is on 31st July. This wud be my second attempt (hopefully last ). i joined IMS Mumbai (santacruz) center last year for weekend classes. It wud be a gr8 idea if all ppl preparing frm amdavad can share there plans and strategy for hitting CAT.
