hello seniors,

i have registered for bimtech the last night.everything went smoothly. but i found two problems while online submission:oops::oops::-

1. i could not upload my photograph and signature there...though it is showing that one has to come with photograph in gd/pi(if called) if one could not upload it ...but what about signature?...my form is uploaded without my signature...will that be accepted?

2. there was no slot for cgpa grades....i got 8.11 cgpa in btech which is equivalent to 81.1%...hence i submitted the latter one...but will that be accepted?

kindly help me....though i got my id n password and a printout of the application form..am i supposed to send that, with my photograph and signature, to BIMTECH?

Hello Sid bhai..as i had previously mentioned the issue pertaining to photo updation..to sort it out i have sent the application print out to BIMTECH with photograph attached and signature..

And it would give CONFIDENCE AND RELAX who found REGISTRATION PROCESS a bit hectic.
We would come with solution very soon as MIRANI is looking into it.
GD/PI process has a lot of weightage in the process along with ESSAY WRITING.

You don't have to do anything. That shows u have successfully completed the process. You'll get a confirmation mail in your mail-box. Please check that.

Well weird case we also dun have much idea abt the online application system but give me a days time i will get back to u with a proper info abt ure prob. For the time being u can call up the admission office and enquire about it.

Hey Abishek good question well the fees factor, if u go to compare fees then there are a lot of things which add up the facilites, the infrastructure and other support which the college provides are quite good enough.The average pakcage of 4.5 was for the 2008-10 batch when the market situation wasn't that good enough. But as of now the placements which are taking place in the present year, its for sure the avg package will go up for a good amount.Well after doing bba i guess it should be quite comfortable to get adjusted in the b-school scenario. Bimtech has pretty good faculty and every year the subjectes are reviewed and the necessary changes are made as per the Industry demand.

Hey as of now I dun have any idea about this procedure of registering as this is the first year the application procedure going online.Well but i would really get back with the proper answer by tmrw by consulting the admissions dept. First of all,sorry for the late reply.I was busy in the class tests.
If you are expecting 80-85 in CAT(Fingers Crossed),you have fairly good chances of getting interview call.
Can you Tell for which courses you have applied.
If you have good communication skills,your way to success in interview would be higher.
65 percentage in B.Tech is not bad as i am also an engineer with 69%.
Since you have back paper in APRIL,and most probably Interview wil be in FEB-end or MARCH-1st week,you have to tell clearly that before Joining BIMTECH you will clear the paper.

LANDMARK has given a whopping package of 12.5 lacs to 3 students of RETAIL.
9 lacs is the highest package of PGDM students.
7.8 lacs for 4 IB students.
Insurance students got highest package of 6.5 lacs by SBI.
And we are not trying to discourage the students.

Its not mandatory to have 60% throughout.To apply in BIMTECH you should have 50% in your graduation.
But its always better to have 60 in your academics.
But you can cover it by your performance and projects.
So no worry PUHU.

this year the placement scenario is very good with 107 students placed before the start of placement week out of a batch of around 380 students

studies in every college is more or less same but if you like sports than BIMTECH is a place to be.
We have Basketball, Volleyball, badminton court.
several table tennis tables and a ground which is ideal to play Futsal.
We also conduct Cricket tournaments.
we have a very prominent student exchange program with france. We play with French guys almost every evening.
Recently we had an official match with them .
Feel free for further queries.

Infosys only selected 50 odds at avg pakg of 7lacs.
I can't disclose much of placements result.But this year avg package is definetely going to increase from last year 4.5lacs.

2.Its full resential campus.So no problem in anything.Atmosphere is just amazing here.A lot of commities are successfully running by students.
Quiz Crazy Bimtechians,E-cell,INMOS,Pallete,Majlis-debating society,UFE,Unmaad are a name few.

3.Here every course has its own USP.So nothing like marketing or insurance or retail or finance.

4.Insurance and risk management course is among top3 in india,same case with retail.Marketing has its own height.

So no worries.....

I've already applied for the BimTech but would like to know the expected / cut-off percentile in CAT

It depends that for which course you have applied.
This year since placements are going very nice so cut-off is expected to be increased.
For PGDM-expected cutoff would be 85.
For retail,IB,Insurance-75+.
For SDP-70+.
But this is expected and depends on ongoing placement.
PERCENTAGE of 60% in 10th,12th and graduation will be more taken careof by institute this time.

THERE IS NO SCHOOL INSIDE THE CAMPUS...
ITS FULLY RESEDENTIAL CAMPUS..
Average Package is 4.5lacs...

No bimtech don't have any quota...
Admission is based on cat score only
