i have been selected for pgdm(retail management) can anyone tell me how is pgdm(rm)of bimtech.what is the placement scenario of bimtech in this program pgdm(RM). is this program good from bimtech. average package , highest package last year, this year. pls reply soon so that i can take a decision.

do u know that unlike PGDM, PGDMIB have to study 10 instead of 7 subjects per sem, they study majors in IB & major subjects in their specializations(finance, marketing or operations),but still the final scorecard displays IB as major & specialization as minor. So despite all double slogging, IBians arent recognised & wen placements come PGDM gets 1st preferrence & IB second, given that BIMTECH has umbrella placements. So, think twice honey, b4 u take IB in BIMTECH..........:)

still there seems fuzz in placement figures
bt m sure in the end it depends on ones own capability.
still i expect a >5.5 package in PGDM ..

Update ur knowledge abt the fees dude. The tuition fees is 4.5 and hostel is 93k per annum so total ~6.5L and not 9L. 9Lacs are of ICFAI's I suppose.

hi to all ,i got selected last year ,but left it because of high fee structure and comparatively low placement.i will advise only those go for it for whom money is not the problem . fees are really high ,6.5 tuition and around 2 lacs hostel fees ,so overall 9 lacs.infrastructure no doubt is among best in country.

i hv converted jaipuria lucknow & submitted 1 lac rs..,now the problem is that..i am in the waitng list of Bimtech & they are demanding 1.17 lk ..will it be worthy to me or not?
after loosing 1 lk in jaipuria & submiiting 6.5 lk in bimtech...with both of them having nearly equal placements...where should i go???

but i m not joining bimtech bcoz bimtech is not giving enough time 4 fee submission (31 march ) and i think 6.5 lac is too high as per its placement

I think we 3 have same kinda profile. Me also a B.E. with workex of 14 months in largest construction grp of India. I resigned from there in sep'06, thats why I have a lesser experience.

For making a decision u have to ponder upon the following facts:

What is ur current salary?
Do you have to support your family monetarily or not?
How will it effect your job profile and self satisfaction?
You see if u join BIMTECH then your 6.5 Lacs + 2 years salary wud be at stake.

After completing the PG course u might atleast end up earning minimum 6 Lacs CTC seeing the current market scenario and ur work ex.

So its now ur take how u decide, I have made a decision to do MBA in sep'06 only while resigning so no confusions for me.
