HI Puys.

I given all AIMCATS till now, All my scores have up and downs, these Aimcat scores are killing me .... very very very low scores. Is CAT will also have same type of Qs, is AIMCAT is difficult, if not where am losing marks :-((((( how to prepare for CAT ...?

If there is interruption in power supply, the test can be resumed after power resumes.

However, at times, when there is powercut or internet connectivity issue, all responses will not be captured.In such eventuality please post your answers to answers@time4education.com and we would consider the same to evaluate your result. Please send this in a Separate Excel Sheet - clearly indicating your T.I.M.E ID card number as well as the test reference in the subject line.

My head was aching all thru the paper..so used to get frustrated very easily...
From the start wasnt feeling well...but still went thru wid the mock...eventually when i reached the VA part my mind was completely exhausted...LR wasnt easy by any standards...dat added to the agony...alrdy analysed two mistakes in sectn 1...but which r the oder two...
did that linear equation ques by assuming + or -...got ans D wid negative sign...
not happy wid the performance

It was an easy paper but some wrong choice of question proved costly. I think my percentile is going to fall below my previous performance.

Need to improve my speed in Sec 1.Took a long time in solving that 2272 students qtn which I read wrong!!!These mistakes in Sec 1 have cost me a lot.Need to cut on them.Sec 2 was decent enough.

Just got done with 1317.

QA/DI : 71 (24/25) Can't think which one went wrong? Probably the equations one. I saw the question having yz and assumed two cases y+z or y-z since I was sure it couldn't have been yz. The second case matched the option (any value except 3).

VA/LR: 45 (17/23)(screw up in LR. Got stuck and eventually left the set but wasted time )

OA: 116 (41/48 )

Expecting a 99+ this time after 98.2% in 1318!

I thought it was a decent performance not brilliant though. I didn't find dis aimcat a cakewalk as claimed by some of the others who took the test.

I am not able to login to my account and i had my aimcat 1317 slot at 2 pm.I called the time office and they said that now no tests can be given from home.Even the non invigilated ones are to be given from TIME centre only.What is this..?The people who have opted for non invigilated tests had opted for that option because they wont be able to give all the tests from one centre and so they could give the tests from home.n now TIME ppl tel me these new rules...shudnt they have told this whn v paid d fees.??What m i supposed to do now..?

Easy QA and easiest DI till now, not at all calculation intensive. Happy with score in section-2, dunno if actually due to some improvement or due to VA being very easy

Regarding that no solution question, I eliminated y and z and made a quadratic in x and for real x checked for discriminant>=0, only 9 was giving <0 so marked 9. Dunno if correct, lets see

Hey! Even I got 57 + 16 = 73.

Cycle of 6, remainder of 4.

16, -41, -57, -16, 41, 57.

1136 is divisible by 6.
So, the cycle ends at 57 and starts at 16.
So now I think, maybe I made a mistake, because, the first four numbers in the cycle will be 16 , -41, -57, -16.

Add all these, you'll get -98. Was it among the options?

Adding the first 4 we get 73.

Dont remember if it was 57 & 16 or 57 & -16.

It is in all probablity a typo and the equation would probably be of the form 3x+y+kz =5, where k would be an integer.

It is a typo guys.. It is a linear equation. I took pencil paper test. There is no y*z term. It is rather y+z as far as I remember.

But I think 1319 would be closest to actual CAT difficulty

Even I felt there was something wrong with this question. If we consider the equations as it is, none of the answers lead to no solution. So there must be something missing in eq 2 as usually such questions involve only linear eqs.

Sir, previously I couldn't attempt more than 12-15 questions in section 1, back then I'd get almost all correct.

Now I can attempt up to 22-25.

CL proc mock 3 - section 1: 21A 13C
AIMCAT 1317 - section 1: 23A 16C

I don't understand that now that I am a lot better at section and the test is easier, how do I make more mistakes?
And how does once fix it?
