are you a student of time or an aimcat student ? how was your cat last year ?? can you share some of your suggestions for improvement in QA. i always ran out of time
also this was my 1st invigilated aimcat so entirely different environment took a toll :shocked:
and i didn't even knew the way to hare street wandered 30 min in dalhouse area and watching the writer building for the first time :lookround:

the allegation from of water and alcohol that came spent sometime in it and later realized it was a sitter (was the answer 50%??)
same with the ranking and pie chart di, in home i could have easily solved that but there i was frozen after 1 hour :oops:

i am an aimcat student ... however i have been a past TIME classroom student.... my cat didn gave me wat i deserved according 2 my opinion.. it went well but god knows y i did not make it.. i scored a mere 93 percentile despite scoring good in mocks ... cant really say wat happens in cat.. but den we cant make it an excuse and become hopeless... so we are here again..
there are sitters in almost every paper.. and loads were dere in actual cat..
actual cat was easier than this aimcat.. however u never know when they can have it changed...

While analyzing the paper i realised i missed out on 4 easy DI questions.I could have solved them easily but wasted time on some other questions which i couldnot solve ultimately.....
what is the right approach ?
shall one solve DI first and then move to quant?
or sum other strategy like first 30 mins this and so on.....
kindly help puys keeping in mind my analysis........
its very difficult to locate easy questions .....i want to know how to go about and overcome this problem........

cud never hv thot my first post wud turn out like this, but after completion of 1316 i was showed 43+46 = 89 marks and the same was shown after i checked the summary on my time's account, but the result shows 0 marks in both sections and 71 mins spent in QA and 0 mins in VA and 0 questions attempted in both questions.
Cant believe this. as per topper list it meant 203 AIR, (wud hv been my best so far).
P.S. - even with 0 marks i hv 2.16 percentile!

Sent a mail to TIME HelpDesk regarding the error and its been rectified.

I don't know how to explain this. It's pretty much self-explanatory. Just write all the conditions given and follow the logic. It's simple.

I was just going thru the solutions provided by TIME for the 1316 paper. I came across a term: degenerate isosceles triangle(question 10). Can someone throw more light on this please? all i could gather from the solution was that one side tends to 0 and other 2 sides are equal..... What exactly is a degenerate triangle and what are its applications?

Got a doubt regarding test window links.

If I book a morning slot on the first day will the link be on my home page till the end of the test slots, like for 4 days or whatever number of days the slot is for, or till the end of the day I booked?

And is it the same with inv and non inv tests?

Because I had my inv aimcat in the morning and I thought it would active till the end of the day like last year but after 3 hours the link was gone :(

You can give the non-invigilated mock anytime between the date you book and the last date. I personally book all the non-invigilated aimcats at any random time on the first day and take it on my wish.

@WhoMovedMyChees, if you had booked for a slot in the morning, the link would remain active on your account till the last day whether or not you give the AIMCAT.

For eg, for 1315, i filled the 6am slot for today i.e. first day, first slot. however, the link appeared at 6am only. however, had i filled a slot for tomorrow, the link would have appeared at midnight today. both these links stay for the entire duration of the testing window.
