can anybody explain me the "theta" problem...i saw the explanation but i am not satisfied by that funda.....how they can compare new system with old system....in new system the difference between the digits is 2 (given) ..where as 5-theta= 6-theta=1......not able to understand how they compared id...

Use the concept of the number system in base 11.

Hence Theta becomes 6 and other numbers becomes number+1

hence 8(Theta) is nothing but 9*11 + 6 = 105.

I'm going to go ahead and call this the most unprofessionally framed exam I have ever seen. Including parajumbles BEFORE we have chosen the appropriate word, the question prompts rife with grammatical errors and make little sense, I could go on...

Section 1 - I naturally suck at, but Section 2? I blame TIME for that one. Their english was horrible. Yech.

In question 20 the last line concept cudnt get..

My best score ever. This was one Aimcat which I gave without any pressure as I was half asleep and knew that my score will be low. But, it turned out to be my best AIMCAT ever. I have got higher scores in CL proc mock but this is my best ever in AIMCATS.

Everywhere the same story is being repeated, be it CL TIME or IMS I am getting a very unbalanced score. I guess this is due to my strength and weakness are marged. Hope this bad patch will stop soon

Initially after seeing my scores had never thought it would result in 90+ %ile.

Initially there was some problem with the test window (review and next button were absent ) and when i reopened the window, the clock was showing 65 minutes :o.

In section 1 made the mistake of continuing with QA too long . Visited DI, when only 17 minutes were remaining as a result had to leave one set.

Should have done better in section 2 but lost intensity and concentration in the middle , as a result could solve only 20 question :|.

12 more marks and i would have featured in topper list for 1st time .

Lesson learnt- Need to show more intensity during mocks (like England cricket team ).

Toughest mock of the season and I am devastated in this one, from all time highs in my score to this fall,, I enjoyed the roller coaster ride.. But,this one is pinching very bad...... :(

Hmm, weird test, expected results, though the QA cut-off I think shouldn't have been so low. :\

Anyway,

QA/DI: 20 (84.56 percentile) (Fell short of a 98 percentile by 4 wrongs, calculation or pressure induced, which could have been right-ed)

VA/LR: 41 (94.15 percentile) (0C 3W in the Sage RC, 1C 3W in the weird new type of questions, just 1 critical reasoning question wrong! \m/, 2 in the other RC(shame) and 1 in the LR set(what?!), so because I think the new question format and the Sage RC are one offs I can crucify myself a little lesser, but my RC accuracy is pure shame, will work)

OA: 61 (93.28 percentile) (3 wrongs in quant converted to rights, and fewer risks in VA should have put me in a decent spot, instead I had to go out and play cowboys and indians. :\ )



P.s. I was glad this mock happened, it reinforced my beliefs about my weaknesses and strengths, and that I've been trying to study the right things. =D
