Sorry to answer a query that was clearly directed at seniors, but to take some load off Slayer, it is very explicitly stated in the mail that attendance (or the absence thereof) will not affect one's candidature in any way. Immersion is not evaluative. There have been cases of people who didn't attend Immersion getting final admission offers. So if you can't make it, koi baat nai

Please don't ask trivial queries. Time is mentioned in the mail and dress code is a matter of your choice. But when you are coming to a B School you are expected to be in some kind of formal code.

So please do accordingly.

Guys sorry if I sound a bit rude or insensitive but I would say come at in the attire you think appropriate. When they say you are not going to be graded in immersion I think they mean it. So I don't think we have to be very specific about dress, time etc.

Time I think they have specified already. 9.30AM.

Reporting time: I think if we are there 9.00 that should be fine.

So many questions on dress or time, I don't think are warranted.

Just out of curiosity..is there anyone who gave GI2 but didnt get a Immersion call?

two reasons why i am asking this.
1. the attrition rate in GI1 was super high for only 500 odd students to survive for GI2.:shock:
2. 2 days is all SPJIMR took to announce Immersion list. Its either super fast evaluation or they gave out calls to everyone from GI2.

I had faced similar issue while submitting profile sheet for interview....but it was compensated by dropping them email along with profile sheet.....i suggest we do the same here....and drop them an email with our slot detail....i've done the same...waiting for the reply...

I'm trying since 2pm and it's showing "No slots available" since then. Don't know how some people booked their slots. And at least one of the two slots should be available, right? The immersion wasn't mentioned as first-come-first-serve, right? I hope it's a technical glitch and they solve it soon.

I'm a Mumbai resident. I've been shortlisted for the immersion programme, but I have no slots available. I really do want to attend the programme. Any suggestions to what should be done for people with the same predicament?

Hey Slayer, have a small general doubt about the process. Will our staying 1 day at the campus be enough ? That is, if I happen to arrive on the morning of the Immersion Day and leave by the next morning, will it be enough to complete the entire process at SP including things like getting travel reimbursement et all ?
An answer to this would be helpful in planning the trip accordingly !!

it was mentioned in the immersion call letter that slot booking will open after 3pm. Here i see that some ppl have already booked the slots and now if i login it shows that no slots are available. Is this a technical problem or there were only few slots available?
