A person with 65 percent in graduation is getting same marks as a person with 100 percent...
But the person with 65 percent in 10th/12th will surely get 0 marks...

i cant understand their criteria...

PS - Is their any need of including graduation weightage in shorlisting ... ??

Seems I won't be able to make it to big guys, ever, seeing rejection of profiles much better than myself. Well nothing can be done for my 10/12 scores now though so probably no chance for me..

My scores after 2nd stage are as follows-

I have 94% in tenth and 95% in 12th(sci.)..
despite of suh high scores, i have been given 14,12 scores in boards index

This means that if I had got 100% in CAT ..even then my scores wouldnot let me cross the cut off..

So the ideal people shortlisted are ones with >99%ile in CAT,>95 in both boards and >65% in graduation..is this what they mean to say

I dont get it that if I having >95 in boards have got so less index then others with around 80s can never qualify..

SO disgusted to even try next year..Depressed fully:-(:-(:-(:-(:-(

CAT Percentile 100 = 50 marks
10th cbse ( 93.6%)= 15.30 marks
12th Ap state board (95.6%)= 9.07 marks
Graduation IIT (8.59/10) = 10 MARKS

After getting 100 percentile in CAT, scoring 93.6 % in 10th and 95.6% in 12th and 8.59/10 in graduation, i still can't make it.

i wonder who made it.................whoever did ALL THE BEST

I think AP guys can actually file a PIL in court. Because, even if they got 100% marks in 10th,12th, and Graduation and 100 percentile in CAT, they still wont make it past 88 index... so that makes it INELIGIBLE for IIM K..

The above clause is what screwed me over... i got 95% in my 10th. yet my index score is just 12.4 out of 20.
I agree it was State syllabus, but for the given situation how much more could i have got??????????????

My deepest sympathies with the high CAT scorers without the call . The system is flawed anyway , both the exam(CAT) and the Shortlisting criterias of various IIMs

Congrats for the Call, but I can hardly agree with you when you said both CAT and criteria of other IIMs are flawed. IIMA,CLI and yes B is also suberbly fair..but IIMK God only can Save

i just got the call for stage one registration because i cleared their eligibility.

My overall cat percentile is just 75.15 percentile. I knew i will be rejected. Also reason for rejection is fantastic. ts shown. Am already started aiming for CAT 2012. One question to all. pl reply.

for those who missed out, its not that you are not as good as the ones selected but in the selection criteria chosen, your scores came out to be inferior.....
