Possible because VALR marks are 30/100 as agains QADI of 20/100 ..i think(just think) he missed cutoff for VA.

Hi Seniors

Can you give us some pointers on exact criteria IIM I used?

I did not get a call.

CAT - 99.5
10th - 84.6
12th - 80.6
Grad - 86
Male, Engg, IT - 4.5 years work ex

Is there anyway we can know the exact criteria. Just out of curiosity, want to know why I got rejected.

I seriously think CAT results are way too unfair for "General" category. You slog n slog n slog, you get results but still no shortlist.

I don't even know why I am eagerly waiting for this result........ I know I don't stand a chance.

Please don't defend everything . Talking of professionalism why can't they put a note on the website saying the results will be out on this day ? If the same thing happened last year it does not mean it should happen this year too .

PS : No offences please , you are doing a great job :)

My personal take- Like last year IIM-I is using IIM-K data this year too. Also, be prepared for surprises in the results, seems like both I and K results are overlapping...

I know you guys are disappointed about the delay in results. I know some of you have gone ahead and cursed the institute too. But wouldn't it be wrong to curse an institute which u badly want to get into? The admissions office mentioned that results may be out on Tuesday. Please be patient, and please start preparing for WAT/PI . All the best, and once again we apologize for the inconvenience that we may be causing. Please use this forum for fruitful discussions and not to vent your anger.

All I want is a results page as soon as possible, even if it says "not shortlisted", its ok for me. But looks like its not going to be out till Monday as per this thread.

If it is taking time to display a list, you should also display some professionalism to wait for it.
We all know what students undergo during this phase. Even many of my batch mates including me have gone through this phase last year. Whats important is if it is displaying its results 1 day late, try to understand that it will also give you 1 day extra for preparing for your WAT/PI in case you are shortlisted.
