I converted Joka and still not able to take it in !!

When I opened PG in the morning today my heart was in my mouth when i saw that the results were out. Man what I went through for the approx one hr before I finally checked my result. And then the rainy day .. like washing my days of penance away and coming down like drops of nectar on my cheeks, I must have shed an invisible tear or two. It has been a long battle for me and I am really humbled that the mighty IIM C has considered me worthy of entering its hallowed portals.

Guys im looking forward to seeing all my batchmates in Joka, do PM me to get in touch, ive been super elated and very emotional since afternoon. :biggrin:

I have a convert. Just wanted to know when does the session start and what amount of admission registration fees needs to be submitted and by what date?

Last year the reporting date was 18th June ... and the initial installment to be deposited was of 1Lakh ( don't remember by what date )

Feeling so happy. Never thought will be so spoilt for choice. Will go with Bangalore as of now. Looking forward to Ahmedabad results now.

There is some internal issue which the admin won't even tell us, I am guessing related to IIMA and IIMB results. But rest assured, the results will not change :). The official results should be out today evening or latest by tomorrow, all depending on IIMA or IIMB :P

I am not related to this thread anyway!!! And I did not have call for IIM-C also. But IIM-C was/is/will be my dream. Hence congratulating all those who made it to JOKA!!! All the best guys have wonderful two years ahead.

This happens every year, and I can understand the anxiety you guys are going through, but I can assure you, it's almost impossible to predict the waitlist movements. The puys got it completely wrong for the last two years for Gen category, while OBC quota was fully implemented only last year, so there can be no trend analysis, there's a good chance a different buffer was applied this year.

I know it may not be possible to avoid discussions on WL movements, but I would strongly suggest not taking any predictions here too seriously. Just keep hoping for the best, and try to be as patient as possible!

Is there any info available regarding this year's buffer calls?

I am gutted to not make it to even W/L. I had a good Gd and a good PI with a good profile as well. Don't know where i went wrong. Thought C was my best interview and I couldn't make it. Can't get any worse :(....
